Hello everyone! This is my thread looking for voice actors for my machinima called "The RS Squad: The Trust" as seen above.
First off, so some of you have some know of what the machinima is about and it might interest you:
The backstory is basically about a big rebel group on Earth called "The Trust". What they do is make illegal versions of spartans and some various other crimes, but the main thing the UNSC is after them for IS the spartans. The machinima tells a story about how one of the main characters (Named Spartan T71 or Snickerz), who is with the UNSC, has to go with a squad to infiltrate the Trust HQ. While it also switches to the side of another one of the main characters (Named Spiker), who is with the the Trust, who has to defend the HQ from the knowing of the incoming attack. But there's much more than that they have to worry about...
And that's just a basic know-how of some of the story elements.
If you seem interested, read on! There's only a few characters that need voices, but they are still needed. Some are minor roles and don't have many lines, but if you like the voice acting for this, maybe you can have a voice as some other characters in the future.
So here we go!
Characters:
(And just so you know, you can try out for more than one character if you want. More than likely that might give you a better chance of getting a role.)
Commander Sturt - [Male] (Might be taken, but you can still try for him.) Commander Sturt is a minor role as he is only in one episode and says only a few lines. He is obviously a commander so he would be a take charge kinda guy. He would have probably a medium to deep voice as appropriated.
Test Lines:
1. If you're almost finished, then you're not finished now are you? And you shouldn't be speaking yet if you aren't.
2. Yes that's right Gean. We're just going to walts into official UNSC military teritory and ask them nicely for our information back. I'm sure they'll take kindly to criminals doing that.
Gean- [Male] (also might be taken, but same thing, you can try for him.) He is an important character, and has quite a few lines, but he's not a MAIN character. He's your typical joke around kinda guy that likes to kid around, but he can also be serious when it comes to it. He would have a type of medium voice, maybe a little high but not too much.
Test Lines:
1. Come on guys, let's go get our weapons.
2. Hey don't underestimate him, I've heard a lot about what Spiker can really do in battle, even though we've never actually been on a mission together.
Jane - [Female] She is a main character, and has a lot of lines. (So if you want this part, I would like you to be dedicated to it as a voice actor as she will more than likely show up a lot even past season 1. [and yes I have more than one season planned]) She's a serious girl who can take charge and get things done, but she's not uptight and always serious about every little thing. She doesn't really have a particular voice style that I have in mind, so be creative!
Test Lines:
1. Hah. Well, whatever you say. Though I've never so much as seen you hold a close quarters weapon. You've always got that sniper of yours with you.
2. You? Use a shotgun. This'll go great, I can see it already.
Del- [Male] (Again, might be taken. Still try though if you want.) Del is not a main character. He shows up in about 3-4 episodes though. He is someone who doesn't like being told to do, your kind of rebelous character. He treats anyone who tries to talk to him with a tone of disrespect and is just plain an asshole. He has a deep voice.
Test Lines:
1. Ooooh I'm scared now. The big debriefer spartan is gunna hurt me.
2. Whatever.
3. Yeah yeah captain, can we get on with this already? You gave us our debrief yesterday.
Z- [Male] Z is a main character, but doesn't have many lines. (Same thing though, if you want to be a main character, you should be dedicated since he'll show up a lot.) He doesn't say much and is your basic mysterious character. Monotone voice and uninterested, but he does raise his voice at one point in time so if you want to be him, be sure you can do that.
Test Lines:
1. It's Z.
2. Just Z.
Sen - [Female] Sen is also a main character, but does not say many lines in the first season. (AGAIN dedication please). She's a serious girl, and is basically always serious, unlike Jane. She doesn't like jokes, especially at times of importance. She would have a voice that is basically sturn and absolute, no messing around at all.
Test Lines:
1. This information is too important. Besides you know what we were risking... what the others who came with us died for.
2. Come on, let's see what you've got!
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd that is all! Make sure you be creative, I don't mind a few improvisations on the lines, as long as it still works. There's a few other requirements though:

Unfortunately we have no videos ABOUT The RS Squad: The Trust yet. I will have a trailer out sometime, but not sure when yet.
I'm going to put a date on when I'm closing these auctions, and I think leaving them up for about a month will be good for now. If I don't get all the actors I need by then though, I will extend it.
