Black Butler Abdridged/Fandub [reboot]

this is not a recast. this is a reboot.
i lost all of my data, and contact information on my laptop when i changed over to my new computer.
so, what i'm looking for, is to get my cast back, and to grab some cast that i know i didn't get back.

and what role you had gotten to yourself.i know i had Reila on Ciel Phantomhive.
consider any and all characters open to audition until i get my cast back together. demonstrate your character with any lines you deem necessary
for the part, and remember to try and voice match. i'll get pictures and lines up at the first available chance. i'm kinda busy in real life, so it's hard to
compile a list of characters and lines.
however, i'd like to make a point that people obviously didn't get in the first audition set, is that i do NOT want a female playing Grell Sutcliffe. i need
a male for that part. in a mid-low range, but able to make himself sound feminine. again, use the english dub for reference, and remember your acting
skills.

sorry for this hassle. and i will definately get lines and pictures up as soon as possible, so give me some time.

Season 1

Ciel Phantomhive

Casted: Reila


Sebastian Michaelis.

Casted: Myself (this spot is contendable. just because i cast myself, doesn't mean i'm the best for the job. come up with some creative, or from-the-dub lines, and send em to me.)


Grell Sutcliffe
voice type: low to medium. wide range. again, with Grell, i liked what they did with the english dub of the anime. he sounded like a male, but
sounded genuinely feminine.

Line 1: "Oh, Bassy, I do love red the most. It's great for Hair, clothes, lipstick, I love them to be red. That's why I love using fresh blood to do make-up for those ugly women. The more flamboyant a woman is, the more she's as beautiful as a poisonous flower, right?"
Line 2: *emotional, distraught* "If i have to dress up, why can't it be in a sexy shade of red with a waistline that would flatter my figure!? i can't live with a shame as deep as this! no! i'd rather die! *pause, then sad.* you aren't... going to try and stop me this time?"

Undertaker
voice type: medium-deep. really, when you're getting ready to try this character, think creepy! i loved both the english and japanese
dub of this character, and every time i, personally, get ready, to do my Undertaker voice, i listen to his Kuroshitsuji II soundtrack songs.
also keep in mind! Undertaker has a second side to himself! deep inside, he's actually a hopeless romantic. at one point (in the manga, i
think), that side of him came out. he becomes a very somber character, so much so that even Sebastian can't get him to laugh. so leave
room in your vocal range for a deeper, calmer tone.

Line 1: *creepy, ominous* "heheheh, welcome... i thought i'd be seeing you before long. my lord... it's so lovely to see you." *suddenly cheery* "do i finally get the pleasure of fitting you for one of me coffins today?"
Line 2: *very Excitedly* "please, my lord! give it to me, and i'll tell you anything! *excited breathing* give me the gift of extraordinary laughter! give me that and anything is yours!"

Madame Red (Lady Angelina Durness-Barlett)
Voice Type: medium... holding regality to it. oddly enough, when i hear the english dub, i keep thinking of her voice as a cross between
Tsunade from Naruto, and Jesse of Team Rocket from Pokemon.

Line 1: "You want to take revenge for my murdered sister? Sister would definitely have not... we would not have wanted you to be like this."
Line 2: ""I came to love my red hair that was just like my father's. I came to love red. I came to love you."


Bardroy
Voice type: medium-deep. he's got obvious grit to his voice, but it's not overwhelming.

Line 1: "The kitchen is the chef's holy place where even the butler can't raise his voice to him"
Line 2: "Oi! If i were you, i'd have that looked at right away, 'r else you'll probbaly die! *pause* "oh yeah! DING!"


Mey-Rin

Casted: RosieRevenge

Finnian (Finny)
Voice Type: boyish/childish. he is very carefree. naive, almost.

Line 1: "It used to be that I couldn't go outside like this. So now it's fun to do it every day. I can touch trees and bugs and people."
Line 2: *sad, over his own misdeed* "i thought things would go faster if i used extra strength weed killer on the garden..."

Pluto
voice type: none in particular. you should just be good at doing dog noises. though, for comedy purposes, you could simply say
bark, rather than making barking noises. though, i'd still like to keep the whining noises as whining noises.

line 1: *barking*
line 2: *whining*

Tanaka
voice type: well... i suppose... just think... old man... and butler. if you know how to cast yourself well, this will be an easy voice.
need voice actors who can sound age 60 and up for this one.

Line 1: "Hoh, hoh, hoh..."
Line 2: "The head of the Phantomhive house should not be shaken by something as trivial as the death of a servant. I never once saw the master lose his composure due to such trifles."

Lady Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Middleford (Lizzy)

Casted: Reila

Lau
voice type: soft, medium. he's kind of informedly naive... it's hard to tell if he's really as naive as he acts, or if he really doesn't
know what's going on around him. however, it can be speculated that he knows exactly what he's talking about always. to be a
member of the shanghai mafia, and to be completely naive wouldn't make much sense. but that's a personal opinion.

Line 1: "The spider's web has already been woven. The more you struggle, the harder it becomes to escape from those bonds. Whatever the prey, once they get involved with me, catching them is only a matter of time"
Line 2: "In this world, Earl, there're people who can't survive because of the cruelty of reality. I sell those people's dreams."

Prince Soma Asman Kadar
voice type: i'm actually not quite sure how to explain this one. he's the prince of bengal, so kind of an indianesque accent... if
you've seen the show, you'll know what i mean... he's a tough cracker to explain xD

Line 1: "Sorry. We were that close and I didn't understand one bit of Meena's feelings. I'm sorry for never thinking about being a bother, and chasing you all the way to England. And thanks for everything up till now."
Line 2: "You stayed by my side, even when we were separated. I've given you nothing but trouble up until now. Will you stay by my side and still be my khana-sama?"

Agni

Casted: Myself (same rule applies as before, just because i cast myself doesn't mean it's reserved for me.)

William T. Spears
Voice type: Medium-deep. he sounds a bit stuck up, in a way, but that's because of who he is. he's cold, calculating. he rarely
shows emotion if he can handle it, and is obsessed with making Grell's life as miserable as he can.

Line 1: "Demons are those who use various chances to poke fun at humans, before proceeding to leech whatever comes out as a means of survival."
Line 2: "I apologise profusely for any inconvenience caused by this wretch.'

Lord Aleister Chamber (Viscount of Druitt)

Queen Victoria
voice type: 2 types. 1) childish. young girl. but very somber, but regal. kind of depressing in a way. 2) the imposter of queen
victoria. she is old, and sounds that way.

Young Queen: Casted: MeroMeroSarahade

Line 1: (sadly the line i was thinking of was actually uttered by Ash, her butler. but here it is regardless) "Funtom's curry requires no utensils and can be consumed by anyone. Yes, that is right. This is a method that takes even the children into account. Everyone is happy: the rich, the poor, the adults, the children. Everyone is equal. This kind of idea is essential for Great Britain as it heads into a new century. I highly approve of the Funtom Company's accounting for our future, the children."
Line 2: (we'll say Line 1 accounts for both lines.)


Angela and Ash (two voices, of course.)
Voice Types: Angela: Medium female. Angela is actually a rather wide-ranged voice. she sounds very regal, and self-righteous.
Ash: Mid-range male. a lot like angela in how she hold herself, regal and self-righteous. he is the queen's butler.

Angela

Cast: Ashlee Christopher

Ash
Line 1: "Her majesty and her husband have a strong will to lead England into a bright world without filth. This will has also cleaned her own dirt, turning her into a spotless girl. What a noble aim. She fits perfectly as the master of an angel."
Line 2: "A huge effort is needed to burn away the uncleanliness and depravity of this city."

Arthur Randall
Voice Type: Deep, older male. sounds in his late 40's to mid 50's. he is Fred Aberline's superior, and Police Commissioner of the Scotland Yard

Line 1: "Feh, and the glory of catching Jack the Ripper was stolen from us also by that little brat..."
Line 2: "Our country, has a long and rich history. And with it comes a certain number of secrets. Secrets from which i would advise you to stay away. It has been decided, boy. this case is part of the underworld, and shall be SOLVED in the underworld. if you want to know, get yourself promoted. but i guarantee you'll regret finding out. some rocks are better off unturned."


Fred Aberline
Voice Type: Mid-range. he is a driven detective, though Naive. he genuinely wants to create a better world.

Line 1: "I became a police officer to protect the people!"
Line 2: *dying* "Ciel, it's great that you're safe and sound. In the past, when I lost my family, I thought they'd never return. Nothing can return to what it was before, but that's not it. It can be brought back. You have a chance to obtain your future. Don't forget this."

Damiano
Voice type: Mid-range italian accent.

Line 1: "Haha! This is quite the severe board game, isn't it? Is there no way to restore my legs?"
Line 2: "The workers? I don't give a damn about all of that."

Azurro Vanel
Voice type: Mid-deep range. Italian Accent

Line 1: "Our product's been banged up a bit, but I think your face will fetch a price as pretty as your organs. Oh, you don't need to be scared. By the time you're in the hands of those perverts, we'll have you so drugged up you won't feel a thing...
Line 2: "As a bodyguard, I can give you five, no ten, times what you're getting now. And women and liquor and whatever you want. So work for me!!"

Lord Henry Barrymore
Voice Type: Gravelly, deep. he has an obsession with dogs.

Line 1 "What’s with this little Chihuahua?"
Line 2: "Angela, oh Angela. The queen wants my village. You understand, right? I’ll protect this village!"

Ran-Mao

voice type: soft mid-range. monotonous.

Season 2

Alois Trancy
voice type: boyish child. mid-high range. while treating Hannah with great sadism, he craves the attention of Claude, his butler.

Line 1: "Hannah, don't you think eggs are pitiable? Its shell is broken and it's forced to publicly show an indecorous appearance. Then it becomes an eyeball, internal organs, or a plume. And I rob it of any and all possibilities."
Line 2: "Then show me those eyes. Not the eyes of those villagers who looked as if they'd seen a pile of shit. Not the old man's greedy, inflamed eyes. That day, those eyes. Those eyes that longed only for me, Claude."

Claude Faustus

remember, when voice acting, to speak in your mid-range! most people, when speaking day-to-day speak at the lower end of their
vocal range. to remedy this, elevate your tone slightly, to a point that feels natural to your vocal cords. it would be bad to hear
you auditioning, and then hit your rock-bottom range, and end up in vocal fry.
