UPDATE (10/5/2012): Due to school and just life in general, I'm going to put this project on hold until further notice and instead focus on smaller easier projects, which I will hold smaller auditions for when the time comes. In the mean time, your free to audition or drop out if this doesn't work for you, I'm sorry about the sudden news but I have other priorities and a project like this at a time like this won't do me any good and will most likely result in a less stellar project. UPDATE (9/21/2012): Just going to extend the deadline for another week, still looking for a Masaki but I have gotten confirmation from most the cast members, so I at least most of the main cast, still on a hiatus but I should be back soon.

UPDATE (9/21/2012): I'm going to take a small break from the dub, just until I can find someone to play the main female lead, the reason being is that I want to focus on smaller projects, that require less time and will serve as valuable practice. Shouldn't be too long and I'll be sure to stay in touch!

UPDATE (9/11/2012): Good news, I finally got off my lazy butt and got around to compiling most of the main cast!
However, the bad news is that I haven't gotten enough auditions for the other characters (The main character especially) either from a lack of people of auditioning for them or not being of the quality I expected to get.
So unfortunately I have no choice but to extend the deadline again but only by two weeks, which I hope is enough time for the last of these auditions to be filled. Until then, if you find your name in the cast list and our still willing to contribute to the project, post a comment or send me a PM and if you didn't get a major part, you can still be an extra as a minor background character, so no worries, everyone gets a chance.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm looking for aspiring Voice Actors/Actresses to star in a fan dub adaptation of the manga "I-Revo" or "Ice Revolution." The manga itself covers eleven chapters divided into three volumes. I intend to do the first volume and later move on to the others as time goes on.

Here's what you need to know:

STORY:
Being the daughter of a dojo manager, Oosawa Masaki has been practising nothing but karate. Her chance encounter with a certain young man sparks her interest in figure skating. Can a mannish Masaki transform into a sweet, lovely girl on the skating rink?

So before we begin there are a couple of ground rules you must follow BEFORE you audition:

1. You Need To Have Decent Mic Quality:
I'm not looking for perfect audio but please keep your audition free of background noise.

2. Edit Your Audition:
While I do appreciate the addition of bloopers and misreads, for an audition it's not very professional. I would rather it be a smooth process, than it be rough, although you are free to add an introduction of telling me who you're auditioning for. Other than that please edit.

3. Express Emotion:
I will not accept auditions with no heart or soul. Acting is not something everyone can do. If you feel invested and driven by voice acting then please do the best you can.

Do to my lack of experience in writing a proper script and acknowledging the tedious work of having to edit a large of amount of pages, I've decided to offer positions to help ease my workload, provide a smoother production schedule, and hopefully get these episodes out faster.

Requirements:

1. A Reliable Schedule and Work Ethic - I'm not gonna lie, it's going to be a lot of work writing and editing images, so I need people who I can contact quickly and can rely on to meet deadlines.

2. Have knowledge or skill of the desired profession - Now I don't expect a literary master or a guru at Photoshop but I do expect you understand the basics of these tasks.

1. "DON'T GO AROUND SEXUALLY HARASSING PEOPLE!" (Tomboyish;I need you to really get angry here, Think Edward from Full Metal Alchemist when screaming like this)
2. "Dad, I've beaten all ten in a row, like you promised, I'm going to do figure skating!" (Tomboyish; Before this line Masaki has just gotten finished fighting alot of her classmates and she is obviously a little worn out)
3. But...Even starting at this later stage, I want Kaoru to properly understand that I'm a girl... that's why I've gone and had this whole makeover(Sounds more like a typical girl,she's no longer using that tomboyish voice; with this line Masaki's a little more somber and a little embarrassed she's talking about Kaoru like this in front of her coach)
4. I am going to go and start a serious training program right now, so that I can skate beautifully out there like a proper girl!!! (More like our typical Misaki, but instead of sounding like a tomboy she instead sounds more like a typical teenage girl; This line isn't really angry but is more assertive and demanding)

She's loud, stubborn, totally full of herself and her abilities but despite that can be sweet, understanding and admiring. Also she yells all the time so, we need someone who can portray a medium toned female and can yell without sounding forced.

Karou (Major Character/Love Interest) CASTED: uchiharain23 (Confirmed)

Both understanding and caring Karou is the man of Masakis' dreams, we need a smooth voice to compliment this charming individual.
