I like the series. I enjoyed the old (with the exception of most of the red sky episodes) and newer (2003) incarnations.

The new show doesn't seem all that bad either. Though, I think they are trying to ride of nostalgia a bit by using the original theme a little too closely. Also, I'm not so keen on the pseudo anime stuff. It's like a mash up between the 80s, 2003, and Teen Titans.

The art style feels very Transformers Prime. I hope they have the same writers.

Sorry to bump but I figured I'd give my opinions about the show so far.

From what I can see, it's off to a good start. The voice cast is pretty good, particularly Splinter. The only voice that seems off is Mike, mainly cause he sounds too similar to Beast Boy (probably cause they're voiced by the same person) The animation is really good and expressive, and the fight scenes are impressive. I don't mind the Teen Titans-esque humor that a lot of people seem to dislike. Plus I have to give them credit for this: it's probably the only TMNT series where the turtles are ACTUAL teenagers.

I don't have much time to track the show down but I do have to say,it is a nice little bit of fan service that the new series theme is a remixed version of the one in the 80s cartoon.

And on another note, don't feel bad about bumping cause this thread has been underused.

Oh, a turtles thread! So far, this show is very fun! I love the character dynamics, and the whole look of the show really grown on me. I like that the brothers actually have their own unique look for a change and look you know....like teenagers. But, I love how Mikey and Splinter are written in here. Also, Greg Cipes is the perfect Mikey. Hearing Rob Paulsen on Don instead of Raph is kind of surreal, but he works for this rendition of the character. But yeah, I don't mind seeing more of this show.
