Hi all! I honestly have no clue what's going on!

Well, I suppose I have a general idea, but that still doesn't net me much. I've always had an interest in VA, but have never had the means to pull it off. I'm hoping to get some pointers on how to get started. I guess I'm not obsessed with 'breaking into the business', as it were, but I've always thought it'd be something that would be fun to do! I'm musically-inclined, so I not only could do spoken roles, but some that would require some non-tone-deaf singing as well

So, please be gentle with this clueless noob!

Welcome welcome! If you need some tips, then the 'Help, Information, and Resource' forum is where you should look. There's tons of stuff in there. Though if you're just looking for some pointers then I guess... have a good mic ready, send as many auditions as you want/can in, and... have fun. That's what I did (have been doing), lol.

I'm still quite the noob myself, and I'm just learning as I go ^^u But as they say, allow yourself to fail, and everything will be fine. A good mic helps indeed, though, yes. Just learning by watching and listening is also a good thing. If you have an interest in it and are having fun, then I'm sure you'll learn, grow, and be great - or are already! Enjoy your stay ^__^
