  1. #1 Question for April 3rd - April 9th, 2012
Here's an interesting acting question I've heard thrown about every now and again.

When you read for a script, what do you tend to lean on or add emphasis to?

Personally I always try to play into a bit of (maybe too much) melodrama, letting silence and a sheltered word have their say. This of course usually means there's an emotional outburst a-comin' but that just makes it all the more fun for me.

As always, please continue to send some new question ideas via PM over to to Seishiro17, Cydonia or Sukisho. Make sure the subject is "Question of the Week" so we know what it's for

Whenever I'm working with a script, I look for little bits here and there i can add a bit of myself to. If there is a scene where I'm running and screaming I'll add some impromptu lines here and there. If my character is off screen but still in the room I might record an extra something here and there.

I always want to give the character a little bit more life than normal, since most of what I do is fandubs. It lets me leave my mark on the character and gives it something nobody else can do the same way. (not trying to sound egotistical)

I sure hope what I say makes sense.

Whenever I read a script, I method act it out first whoever I'm playing, and I do all the stuff(I pretend to do all the stuff) on the script, and if it's opening a door and saying a line, I open my front door, walk inside, and say the line, and when I record, I remember just that, and I imitate that. Then, when it's recorded, I can see how I did prior to my method acting.

I do this all the time, and the last script I did this with, Manic Depressant Barbie, I acted out as Ken and tried to see what the scenes looked like when I was going to make my flash(scene by scene, and room by room)

Well, whenever I do write down a script straight from an idea from my brain,it is kind of awkward for me to turn something abstract(thoughts and ideas)to something tangible(actual stuff in pen and paper format). It basically is me trying to remember things from a dream I had last night if I were to ever keep track with a dream journal. As a result,I guess my mind is a puzzle even to myself as I try to fiddle with it to get a bigger picture. Hope I'm not sounding like I'm blowing out of my ass. I really do have trouble getting things to tangible and presentable form and it has been a thing I have been struggling as both a person, and an artist.

    I WAS FROZEN TODAY!!!
