I’m working on a midterm project for Academy of Art. In the this project we are creating a ten page website centered around a made up business. My made up business is a print on demand website called Earthenware Inc. It’s similar to Café Press and Zazzle in many ways, except al l the products used are made from organic or recycled materials.

One of the features of this site is a monthly interview with one designer from each shop.

All Auditions must be sent in MP3 Format to humliej@gmail.com
Auditions must be sent in by March 24th.

    Characters:

    Morgan

Morgan is the host of Featured Designer interviews.

    Voice: Male or Female

Line 1: Morgan: Hello and thank you for listening to Earthen Ware Inc. Featured Designer interview. I’m Morgan, your host for the feature of the Earthen Ware Inc. Website. This month we will be having an interview with Venka Le Fay, the owner of Victory Angel Designs. First off, why don’t you tell our listeners a little bit about yourself?

Line 2: Morgan: What about your designs…of the designs you’ve made so far, are there any you would consider your favorite?

    Venka Le Fay

Venka is the Featured Designer for the month. She owns a shop called Victory Angels Designs.

Yes I did base her character off myself.

    Voice: Female Medium-high

Line 1: Venka: I had been using Café Press off and on for some of my designs. I liked the concept that Café Press had, but I never really liked the way you were able to create the products. The no matter what size I selected that drop down menu made everything look bad. Then I when I was buzzing around a forum I liked I saw an ad for Earthen Ware Inc. and I liked how much better the items looked in comparison. I also liked how you have more freedom when it comes to customizing your products, and that people have the ability to add their own personal touches to things.

Line 2: Venka: The funny thing about that question is no matter how long I spend it never feels long enough. Before I began art academy I would be spending up to 15 maybe 120 hours a day at my computers working on my shop. Now that I’m in school again I’m glad if I even have time to work on my shop at all. I want to use my shop as a means to display what I’ve learned and how my art style has become something of its own form rather than just cookie cutter shapes.
