"Tale of the Bull and the Ass"

This will be part of an ongoing non-for profit serial as an adaptation of Richard Burton's Arabian Night's Entertainments. Occasional adult themes (nothing more than PG-13 rated for the Victorian era!) 18+ actors only.
Each story is no longer than 20 minutes. Although the language is classical, there is humor as well as a touch of drama and the supernatural.

Farmer's Wife 40s's female Inquisitive and insistent. "No matter! tell me what secret passed between the Bull and the Ass and die this very hour!" SHRILL VOICE

Hello Marpix, and thanks for your question. What I am looking for is a hybrid of sorts, although the animals speak in a classical style, the story is bawdy and humorous. The animals do make sounds in several places. If you wish you may do two takes in either style, a classical voice as well as an anthropomorphized animal voice. Since there are future roles, this will be helpful in upcoming shows. I look forward to hearing your audition
