I kinda thought I made Sephiroth a bit more gruff than he should be. I was kinda worried I'd sound too young for him...and now this pretty much settles it...I really need to stop doing that. But, otherwise the voices and acting were appropriate for the scene. Nice work, guys.

Oooh fun clip! I really shouldn't be watching this before I finish the game, but I think I've just given up on keeping spoilers from myself at this point XD
Zack/Murdog: You seriously keep blowing me away with your acting - I keep finding myself really impressed with you just about every time I see a new clip your in. You've got a good sense for these deliveries and you really carried this scene as my favorite. In particular, the shift right at the end where Zack just says "... yeah" very sadly really resonated with me for some reason. Excellent work. My only minor nitpick is that for Zack, I think I would have preferred just a bit higher of a vocal quality from you. He's always struck me as having a largely youthful quality in his voice, and while I could hear it a bit from you, I would have pushed it even further, at least in my opinion. I think that might have given you a little more flexibility with his playfulness, and when you did hit those moments I think that's when you were closest to what I'm thinking of. Really great performance otherwise though, honestly it's hard to complain at that.
Aerith/Cydonia: Acting was solid here too overall and in particular I think you hit a good emotional tone with the character. The one thing I had the most trouble getting over though was how similar this voice was to a clip I'd seen before of you playing Yuna. Aerith and Yuna do have some similarities, but I think the voice fits Yuna better and I kept hoping I'd hear something a little more solid and warm for Aerith. I think bringing down the pitch might help this a bit, but I think it's probably more just committing a more full voice quality so that it isn't quite so breathy. Breathiness in general tends to limit expression, so it's something I would avoid in general as much as possible, and I know you have the range and acting chops to get there =D I have to admit, I was probably more focused on trying to pinpoint my thoughts on the voice that I didn't focus as much on some of the deliveries, but when Aerith laughed at Zack I definitely had a "that's it" moment that that was probably the vocal quality I was looking for, and the genuineness of the laugh really worked. I think that's where I would personally direct you in future, but I hope that makes senes. Otherwise, you acted well off of Murdog and I think you guys work very well together in these scenes.
Sephiroth/Ryusuke: I don't think I heard enough to make a very thorough assessment of your take on this character, but from what I could hear the deliveries did sound strong enough. I think I might have to agree with your comment that the voice was a little too gruff and it's not something I would immediately pin as Sephiroth. I'd prefer to hear more before I would feel like I could adequately comment on your take, but for this little bit in the scene I have no major complaints again beyond the gruffness.
Great work you guys, very nice clip =D
Murdog - you Acted Zack very nicely. Although, I personally felt it was a little too low a pitch... The acting was solid though. Well done!
Cydonia - Again, the acting was nice, you captured her very well... A little too breathy in parts, but it was an interesting vocal choice. I enjoyed it overall.
Ryusuke - As you mentioned yourself it's a little too gruff, but you have a nice quality to the moment.
Overall I enjoyed the piece. It's one of my favourite games for narrative... So to do it justice is good work
The mixing itself is perfectly fine, only the volume sometimes sounded off for me.
Just my opinion of course for the judgment of the voices... The acting is where it counts, and you've hit that like a beast! Well done all!

Wah, I hate my voice, lol. It's just naturally breathy anyway and it's a hard trait to get rid of I'll try harder though. Thanks for the critiques guys! :3
Small little bump!!! Thanks everyone for the critiques, and im glad you enjoyed the clip!!!!!

Bump for the day!!![]()
