The Official Card Fight!! Vanguard Thread

Since I don't think there was a thread about this new TCG that just hit a small release in US shores in the West Coast,I thought I'd make one. For those of you who are not familiar with this new Trading Card Game(TCG for short) it is a new game published by a company called Bushiroad and it even has an anime basically made to act as advertisement ala Transformers-style. The game has you and your opponent pitted against each other as avatars called Vanguards battling it out in the Planet Cray. So yeah,Cardfight Vanguard is finally getting some momentum here in the States because my local Walmart is actually selling the booster packs. I hope that the structure decks in the future releases will soon follow. In other news,Cardfight Vanguard the anime just started its 2nd season which is counted as its 66th episode. The RAWs are out but not any subs. I hope this game doesn't die out like Duel Masters because it is really fun and rather easy to learn in comparison to other card games.

Hmmm,I guess this board isn't so dead afterall. BTB,trust me when I say this but this game is actually much easier to get into than Yugioh and there are no stupid broken cards that can break the game. That and the packs are about $4 which is a buck cheaper than Yugioh packs and with the way the game is structured,first turn kills are impossible.

So anyways,at the start of the second season,there are 2 new clans introduced by the names of Narukami and Gold Paladins. So far they are the only Clans whose units seems to have the skill in the game called Limit Break(brought to you by Final Fantasy VII)in which a Unit can activate its ability only if it has the same number in their Limit Break Counter equal to the cards in the player's Damage Zone. So if you have a Unit with Limit Break of 4,you can only activate the ability when there are 4 or more cards in your Damage Zone(flipped or unflipped). Here are the implied leaders of the two new clans.

So I'm just really bored at the moment and I realized the serious lack of visits here in this thread. Here are some English releases confirmed for the English game.

11th August, 2012
Booster Set 3: Demonic Lord Invasion will be released internationally.

29th September, 2012
Booster Set 7: Rampage of the Beast King will be released internationally.

10th November, 2012
Extra Booster: Banquet of Divas will be released internationally.

15th December, 2012
Booster Set 4: Eclipse of Illusionary Shadows will be released internationally.

So yeah,the one I'm most excited for is the 4th set Eclipse of Illusionary Shadows since they come with the Shadow Paladins. I like their playstyle of sacrificing the weaker underlings to better my key unit and take victory in knowing that there is no mercy or light at the end of the tunnel for my opponents.
