I got 5 days to complete a dead line and I need a good impression of Obama to deliver a speech about potential alien contact. The script is below. Please email me at fatalerrornetwork@gmail.com. This is supposed to be an address of the nation, calm, controlled and as direct as you're used to hearing President Obama. The succesful candidate will also be asked to play Obama in another radio production.<br><br>
"My fellow Americans and our friends and allies around the world
The question of whether we are alone in
the universe is a conundrum that has vexed mankind for centuries.
Today, however, I fear that I cannot alleviate mankind with a simple
answer but only add further question to this mystery. The
announcement I am about to make has been discussed intensively at
congress and the United Nations in closed conference. And given light
to the speculation and rumor that has come about it has been agreed
to be in the common interest of the public that I make the following
statement.
Right now, at this very moment, leaders
throughout the world are making similar announcements, as this is not
an issue that effects our nation alone but all of humanity. At zero
hundred hours, Greenwich Meantime, January 1st of this
year, a signal of unknown origin was received by various radio
telescopes throughout the world. This signal has continued to
progress over the last 2 months. Now I must stress the signal is
currently of unknown origin and it is important that we do not jump
to unfounded conclusions as a people. We are an intelligent, wise and
controlled people with a strong will and desire to understand and
decipher the unknown, and we have our best scientists and experts
working on and deciphering the signal on it's origin, and, if any,
message and intent.
As of this date I am authorizing a
limited open press policy on this event in order that the American
people both receive the correct information and to maintain public
calm. This is an event that will, understandably be met with
conflicting emotion. Skepticism, hope, fear but hopefully, and given
the merit and strength of the American people, an open mind and will
to understand the potential this discovery holds for all mankind.
Let us not forget ourselves in this
historic moment. We are a strong nation, prepared to face the unknown
with pride courage and the hope of a new understanding, not only of
the universe in which we live, but our own nature and our important
place in it."
