Metallica, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Dethklok, Swashbuckle, Steel Panther, Skull Fist, Tobias Sammet, Stratovarius, ELO, Weird Al, Aerosmith and Avril Lavigne.
Then there is classic Will Smith.
Back when hip hop and rap were much lighter and happier......
Then there is THIS classic!!!!!
Akira Yamaoka, the musical composer and sound designer for the Silent Hill series, all the way through Shattered Memories. A lot of my musical picks come and go with the years, but this one has remained. Everything he does is so unique, yet still done to the absolute best of his abilities. The Silent Hill 3 OST is probably one of my 10 favorite albums ever. Been having a real affinity for Massive Attack lately it seems. There's such a rich musical heritage there: dub, reggae, soul, hip-hop, world music and all kinds of dark, shoegazey awesomeness. They've written some of the most laid-back, cool tunes ever put to record and on the other hand, some of the darkest, grittiest. When it comes to rock, I really can't go with any other band but Kyuss. Then there are certain bands (The Chameleons, Pink Floyd) whose music speaks to me in such a meaningful way that I can only rarely listen to them!
