UPDATE 5/7 - New auditions coming next month.
UPDATE 3/27 - Chie/Michi roles reopened for audition. See below for more info.
UPDATE 3/1 - Auditions closed. Eventually, there will be more characters in need of extra voice actors. So in accordance with the forum rules, until I'm ready to introduce the next set of characters, I'll only bump this thread to keep it from being archived. Anywho, congrats to everyone who got their roles!
UPDATE 2/28 -IMPORTANT- Decided to close auditions for the male characters. Might leave the female auditions open a little longer, but I'm probably gonna close those this week too. As early as tomorrow maybe, but no later than Sunday. Anyway, male characters please confirmAgain, thank you so much for auditioning! If you auditioned, but didn't get the part, please confirm if you would like a small/extra role in a future episode.
UPDATE (2/25) To those that have auditioned so far, thank you so much! I can live with the fact that I'm not getting a WHOLE LOT of auditions, but I would like more female auditions ^^; Only one auditioned, and I have two more characters to find potential voices for. With Jun and the male thug, I have more than one audition for each, so I'm not too worried. You can still audition for Jun/male thug, but right now I would REALLY like more auditions for Akane, and her friends. Thank you!
UPDATE (2/10) ADDITIONAL ROLES HAVE BEEN ADDED. And, depending on how many auditions I get, your voice may end up being used for extra characters that only have one line in the specific episodes featuring the characters below![]()
Kimagure Orange Road Theater is our (Usamimi and myself) attempt to fandub, and retool the entire series. OVAs included. Kimagure Orange Road is about a family of psychic powers, but the show doesn't focus on that. It focuses on the boy of the family, Kyosuke Kasuga, and his everyday struggles balancing his relationship with Madoka Ayukawa, a girl he has a crush on, and Hikaru Hiyama, a girl that has a crush on him. This isn't entirely a parody fandub, nor is it a full-fledged fandub. We do write most of the script ourselves, but the script does retain the general plotline of the entire series, and its respective episodes. We also do all the voices, but closing in on the second half of the series, we realize that we cannot voice every single character in the show. Hence, me making this audition post for certain episodes of our series.
Disclaimer (from our web site): KOR Theater episodes are suggested for viewers ages 14 and over for some suggestive dialogue, infrequent coarse language, mild sexual situations, & mild comedic violence.
Currently, I'm looking for actors to fill the roles of two characters that are important to the "Stage of Love" OVAs that Usamimi and I will combine into a "KOR Theater movie" type presentation.
