What Is It For?
I know that recruiting for 3 mixers is alot but we do have our reasons for it. Hokage Titan and I have joined up and are working on a rather large project. We are already recruiting for script writers HERE but we need three more SFX mixers.
Do I Have To Mix it All?
No, this is the beauty in getting more than one or two people. Each person with have half of an episode to mix SFX for. That means that two people will be getting a half of episode one, the next two will get episode two to split between them, etc, etc. However, you will be put to a deadline. Upon recruiting, we would like to have at least six episodes ready by mid-March.
Extra Note
Those accepted will be required to give a name for the credits. You may use an alias if you so wish but it will be necessary to have a first and second name for the ending credits.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for three SFX mixers.
Someone who can get all of the necessary sound effects that fit within the situation. If you are able to rip from the original clip then that is fantastic.
Someone who can stick to deadlines. This will be a rather fast-paced production team so we expect people to be punctual so that we can get this all ready for voices.
Someone who will stay dedicated to the production.
Dedication is key!
This may be a project that will take over a year or so if it gets going so you must be willing to take part for at least a minimum of six months.
Even if you don't make it this time, we will keep notes of those who would have made the cut but didn't quite.
We will also be looking at previous history within productions so a resume would be appreciated.
Even though the project may take over a year to complete, you will only have a half of an episode to focus on so that makes things able to get done faster. That being said, we are not looking for people who aren't going to put their all into the mixing. We don't want someone who will mix too quickly and not put anything into it, making it seem sloppy.
How Do I Get In?
PM me a minimum of three [streaming] scenes.
Each scene must be a minimum of three minutes long.
Must contain plenty of SFX.
Must be from an anime series.
All must have been mixed within the last four months. [I know this is strict but I need to know people can dedicate their time to this. Adding on an extra month or two due to the Christmas holiday].
Upon being accepted, we will send you a random scene from any anime in which you will have to mix the SFX for it. This will be stage 2. This allows me to see how well you can handle mixing a scene under a short deadline and, possibly, with a series you are unfamiliar with.
Is There a Deadline?
Honestly, we want to get this into preparation as soon as we can. HT and I are already well into the rest of the production. Despite still recruiting for script writers, we are doing what we can for now until we get more staff. Through this, we want to get it all ready and prepared by the summer at best. Therefore, we will be running this on a first come first served basis.
THIS IS NOT A PAID POSITION
