Eyes On Me Cover?

So...I'm thinking of recording a cover of "Eyes On Me" from FF8. This is a video I recorded for a few years ago, and I'm thinking of recording a full audio cover with a karaoke track or something. (Splice the original singer and my voice together.) Especially since I have a real microphone now. What do you guys think?
