Lucia Nanami is the mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean. The source of a mermaid's power is her singing voice, combined with a magical pearl received at birth. At childhood Lucia entrusted her pearl to a young boy after saving him from drowning from a boat accident, falling in love with him. But as trouble begins to arise in the sea world due to a group of water demons, she must rise to the surface to reclaim her pearl in order to protect her kingdom.

Wow! Production has been ongoing for these clips since July of 2011, and I am glad to say they were worth the wait. I am so fortunate to have such a talented cast & crew - thank you all so much for helping me create a good dub this show deserves! Your hard work has made these clips such a big success!

I think we can all agree we have a part of us that loves Mermaid Melody, and that inner part of me had a blast writing these lyrics. :3 To all who haven't heard of MMPPP, it's a fun little show. Though cheesy and predictable, MMPPP has a lot of heart, which lies with its music. I hope these clips encourage you to check out this awesome classic!

I think these are all very well mixed -- I'm most impressed with how the songs turned out, especially because the karaokes don't actually exist, and vocal reductions tend to remove important things from the songs Definitely excited to see how the rest of the clips turn out, and I'm proud to be part of such a talented cast

Actually some karaoke tracks do exist thanks to a Taiwan release a few years back.


Overall both clips were pretty nice. The singers did wonderful, which is always a big thing with this series. I was also kind of surprised to see someone actually dub the songs into English again as that hardly ever happened when people did stuff with this series.

Thanks : ) And yes, I am actually doing a clip from episode 10! Each clip features a song for the most part, and the clip from episode 10 will feature Star Jewel. As for the others - you'll have to wait and see ;D I've got more planned!
