Here's a question from Haruhoust!

What types of shows; such as action, comedy, school life, horror etc, do you find are easier to connect to and which are more difficult?

Something that is a comedy is usually easy for me, or drama :3 the hardest one for me would have to be action because sometimes with the fight scenes I have difficulty making fight sounds and what not

I usually connect easiest to the action scenes or anything really emotional! I love digging into that well of empathy! The hardest I would have to say is the comedic stuff, because I never feel like I sound natural enough...

Ohh question from me? My answer would probably be that Action scenes are easier for me..maybe I have alot of pent up rage. Comedy scenes are a bit more difficult. Oh and for some reason the deeply emotional moments when a character is coming to terms with themselves, for some reason that part comes rather naturally.

I'd go with tragedy, comedy and slice of life.

Easy to connect - Action/dramatic/emotional scenes for sure. I guess that's where my typecast as heroes comes into play! xD

Harder to connect - Comedy. When the character is supposed to flip out for the sake of a joke, my voice just constantly peaks for some reason.

Easy - action. I can deal with attack sounds and screaming and such.

Hard - Comedy. i am pretty sure the joke comes out wrong xD and really emotional scenes where I have to cry out loud. I can't do that right yet

I connect more easily to slice-of-life due to its connection toward real life scenarios without being too "far-fetched", if you will, and comedy because I'm generally a (dry)-humored goofball behind the monitor as it is. xD However, drama really brings out the hidden emotions within me (when I'm normally calm) but still I'd say it's more of a hit-or-miss. Drama can correlate to action, depending on the scenario. Yells, screams, cries, even grimaces of pain ... they carry quite a bit of emotion with them, as well.

I'll say comedy just because I'm naturally a very sarcastic, snarky, goofy guy who finds it difficult to take most things seriously.

Easy for me would be comedy, action, slice of life, etc.

Hard would be emotional scenes, but not because I'm necessarily bad at them, it's just that you don't have to invest in a character in a comedy nearly as much as you have to in a drama. Same for action, those types of shows are all about "in the moment" feelings. For example, "I made this attack effort because I'm punching this dude who's attacking me." and "I'm making this wacky noise because I tripped and fell after hearing a joke." vs. "I'm screaming at the top of my lungs because a normal looking man just walked into my house, but I know him as the guy I witnessed murdering my classmates. I didn't tell anyone because I was too afraid and weak, and now it might be too late."

I actually greatly prefer emotional shows to others because of how much I have to invest in them. The more I connect with the character, the more it feels like I'm actually going through the events unfolding on-screen.
