I would have to say that even Steve Staley's performance made Kadaj sound a little bit older than yours. Kadaj's voice is high, sure, but that's more of a function of his aloof, whimsical arrogance. The pitch of your voice just makes him sound young. In this dub, Merocor's Yazoo (which I would say hit the right pitch) has a lower voice than Kadaj, which doesn't really fit because Yazoo is supposed to represent Sephiroth's alluring, dramatic flair. Therefore, in comparison, Kadaj's voice should make him seem more aggressive and harsh, since he is the manifestation of Sephiroth's zeal and cunning.
