A good Misfits Morning to our fans. May we ask that when you go to our site today, please notice we have "not one" great audio for you but "TWO". Both are from the series of Small Worlds, where we try to keep the shows under 10 minutes so you can listen to them on the run, or during your lunch breaks. Our first one is called Pleasure Revenge, I know your thinking of all kind of nasty thoughts, But you will surprised on this one. As the line says on our page "You should not listen to this on an empty stomach." LOL
And the second one is more for the adventure type of people called "Silent Voices". Where, "If history could talk we’d have to rewrite all the history books." I won't say anymore, it may spoil the ending. LOL

So please enjoy both of these at MisfitsAudio.com

    Thanks Capt. John

Morning all, today we have two announcements, first one is about our show today from the series of Glenn Hascall's Fabled Distortions called, "Red, Granny and Wolfowitz". Talk about a different view of an old fable, you will enjoy this one. It's a lot different then what you read in the books. I am truly amazed of what come out of the minds of Misfits Audios writers and how the actors make it all come to life, so stop by www.MisfitsAudio.com and have a listen.

Now about the second announcement. Some of you know, that a couple weeks ago, we announced the end of our Green Lantern series, after hearing that Warner Bros/DC comics has started coming down on audio sites that did fan based shows. Since then we received fan e-mail and saw through our down load counts, that our fans really enjoyed our series. Now, due to the fact of all the great actors involved, and behind the scene people still wanted to continue, we had to listen. There is a lot of work that is involved in producing just one of these episodes, and it's real easy to "cease" making them, but (you noticed the BUT) there is a large fan base out there, that loves listening to our shows. So, after having a meeting of the minds with the Writer, Post-Production and myself, we came down with only one conclusion. We will continue with our Green Lantern series till one of these two things happens, the series comes to an end on its own, or I receive "official" notice from the representatives of the above mentioned companies. We hope that we will continue receiving your support by listening to our Green lantern series and showing all involved how much you appreciate their hard work.

Folks, I waited till now to see if even we needed a letter to explain today's show, and it seems that the downloads speak for themselves, over 1250 downloads in one day. However what kind of CEO would I be if I didn't say something, so for those who haven't heard the four short stories, may I present:
Strange Stories: “Quartet” Four short tales

    Narrator: STEVE ANDERSON

    Cry Baby”:
An astronaut faces a maddening punishment on an alien world.
RUSSELL GOLD as Lt. Maltin and
    JOE STOFKO as Crun.

    “Power”:
An electrical outage leads to an odd encounter.
    JOE STOFKO as Darren Baker,
STEPHANIE DAVIS as the Operator, and
    VIKTOR AURELIUS as the Voice.

“How I Wonder What You Are”:
A man and a woman wake from nothingness with no idea who or where they are.
    LAILA BERZINS as She,
    JON SPECHT as He, and
    GWENDOLYN JENSEN-WOODARD as the Voice.

    “Feeder”:
Be very careful that the old friend you’re having dinner with really is a friend.
SCOTT FORTNEY as Walker Katz and
    GLENN HASCALL as Billy Hunter.

Hello, everyone. I just LOVE surprise Mondays. What a way to start the week but with not one, but two, great shows at Misfits Audio.

Our first is in a book form from Alexa Chipman called Zoulvisia It's called "Disrupted Meditation" were an innocent hermit is attacked and her home burned—can Isabel and Unicorn Bob find who is responsible in time? This is a great story for both young and old.

Our second is in audio form, that lives up to the Fable Distortions series called Pearl Dandruff & Fish Buckets – A Western, this story is based on a little know Greek fable entitled, “Brother and Sister”. We exchanged Gypsies, ravens and a king for pioneers, coyotes and a ranch owner. We kept the official names of brother and sister to remain true to the original story. Our apologies to the Greeks

Now this is a great way to start a Monday. Hope you enjoy both at www.MisfitsAudio.com

Hello Folks and welcome to another interesting Monday. How about we start by meeting Jack, who's in his 30′s. He still lives at homes. And ask the question, "Why does he have such a dislike for beans, and is he still as gullible?" Only one way of knowing, stop by at www.MisfitsAudio.com and have a wonderful listen to FABLE DISTORTIONS : Jack and the Screen Talk, written and produced by Glenn Hascall.

We at Misfits Audio hope that you are having a comfortable, relaxing Labor Day holiday. Proving that you have this time off. Last week we had an episode from The Tales of the Texas Rangers. We had a big response from that show, and hope the this week we exceed the downloads on this Monday's show, from the files of FABLE DISTORTIONS. This show proves the versatility of some of our wonderful voice actors along with great writing and post-production work. So if you would, take a few minutes, and take an audio tour of the fictional Aesop Fable Station, and get caught up on familiar fables told in an entirely new way – through television, by way of radio, heard on the Internet. Confused? We’ll help you sort it out – just go to WWW.MisfitsAudio.com and click the play button already.

A special note for people living around Columbus Ohio. The CEO, family and Friends will be at the Columbus Zoo on Sept 22 to see Jack Hanna show. We hope to be there when it opens at 10am. If you have time and want to see some of the people behinds the scenes, please look us up. If you want to get a "group discount rate" contact us before that date and we'll give you the details.

Another Monday has come and some may see rain or if your lucky sunshine. But as for us, rain or shine, we try to bring our fans an audio or two, to start your week. Today we have two great audios.
The top one, on our Misfits Audio page at WWW.MisfitsAudio.com is a new miniseries from Alexa Chipman called "Yes, Please" . For the next six weeks you will be entertained with a short but exciting audio from this talented young lady.
Along with her audios, we will try and add another show, like this week, we have another cleaned up audio from the files of The Texas Rangers. These stories are from their files, only the names and places have been changed.
We hope that we have started your Mondays off with great audio drama.
A special note if you will allow us. We are in need of a VOLUNTEER Artists. People that are willing to make posters for our existing shows and our upcoming new ones. Your name will be allowed on the posters along with being in the audio credits and in writing on the Misfits Audio site. If you need to build up your "Portfolios" this would be a great place to add to your list. Please contact the CEO at MisfitsAudio@aol.com
    Thank you Capt. John

Good morning, hope everyone has their coffee or drink of choice. First I would like to remind people around Ohio that Misfits Audio Bus will be at the Columbus Zoo this coming Saturday. (If all goes well). LOL And now for the important part. We have two great audios on today, the second installment of Alexa Chipman's "Yes, Please" . Captured by alien anarchists, two teens have to think on their feet to escape.

And then a New series called The Bullies, about five bull dogs that can communicate. In the great tradition of audio animation, Misfits Audio presents five bulldogs – with character – and they talk, boy do they talk. Five bulldog friends discover more about themselves while uncovering a thief, a wild Frisbee, and a few selfish dreams. Enjoy them at www.MisfitsAudio.com
