Hey! Thanks for all the help! You guys ran a great show! Very professional staff, and crew.

I was a emotional wreck. I was so certain the puppet would break, and the costume was going to fall off when I walked on stage. Then all I would be nekid in front of all those innocent otaku. Then lose my footing on the steps and fall off the stage! Then get struck by lightning. Or at least struck by someone cosplaying Lightning. Yep, all that stuff at once.

I did not pay much attention to who was around me. Just the Chi-ick in front of me, my bro, and the medical people.

I am going to do it again at Anime Fest and hope it isn't as scary.

If you want to see how I made the costume, check out my facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...2906730&type=3

Just a warning, if you try to compete in the same cosplay at AnimeFEST you may get a DQ due to already winning major awards at A-Kon. Most cons have a 'sandbagging' rule of some sort. At the very least I know there is some crossover with judges from both cons.

Other cosplayers get pretty peeved at things like that, especially if you win again at a smaller venue. Unfortunately those same disgruntled cosplayers will be happy to bring you to 4chan and do their thing...

You might be able to still do a skit or something though since I don't think you did one at A-Kon.

You'll just need to get in touch with the cosplay head and check.

    Wow that stinks.
I am new to this cosplay stuff. Figured that I could use the same costume at different events.
I suppose I will just go to hang out in costume then.
I really wanted to win more stuff
What the heck is a 4Chan??

If there are any Soul Calibur Cosplayers who I could do a skit with I would enjoy that.
