[OPEN] FAIRY TAIL MOVIE ENGLISH FANDUB 2012 (Please read or you may get disqualified)
FAIRY TAIL will have a movie coming out on August, 2012.
There will be an English FANDUB for it.
The auditions are being held RIGHT NOW so that when the movie comes out,
we won't have to go around scouting for voice actors and focus on the SFX, Background Music, and Scripting.

[EDIT - I HAVE started with casting right now. Just to see who's best so far. Please DO NOTE that Fairy Tail has many casts. Because there WILL be other characters, and you pass the two levels, than you will be another character for the movie, exercise clip, etc.
ALSO please DO NOTE that the cast during the middle may change. If you are not active, not giving out the voices that I would want, etc. than the back-up may take your place. This would only happen during the fandub clips. The back-up can ALSO become the main character IF they show more potential in their voices throughout the duration of time.] And that was one HECK of an edit....
Note: The movie is coming out in 2012. I do not know which character will be in it. But I do know that there will be the main characters.
If you audition: IT MUST BE THAT YOU WILL BE DEDICATED.
But save that for later.
First are the main character and line for each:
Natsu Dragneel (Slightly higher than Gray.) [M]
LINES:
1. I am not alone. I can hear them...I can hear everyone's voices...I can sense everyone's feelings...I am not alone...Everyone's feelings...They support me...They are what gives me the will to stand up and fight! (Starts weak and grows stronger)
2.Whether they've got magic or not, the important thing is that they're alive! These are lives, dammit! (angry)
3. We'll stop it! Even if my body crumbles to bit I'll stop it with my soul! (Grunting but determined)
4. Don't give up. It's not over yet. Bring it on bastards...I'M STANDING RIGHT HERE! (Was on the ground and struggles to get up)
5. Lucy!~ Let's go on a job!

Lucy Heartfilia (Medium-high) [F]
LINES:
1. Than why don't you try killing me? If you do that, you'll be in bigger trouble than this! Fairy Tail will never forgive you, that's the kind of guild they are! You'll be shivering under the shadow of the world's scariest guild every day for the rest of your life! (threatening)
2. What I want...isn't money, pretty dresses, or fortune forced upon me. I'm not Lucky Lucy of Heartfilia anymore. Fairy Tail recognizes me as just Lucy and my other family, it's a far more loving family than this! (Starts sad than turns mad)
3. If she's your ally, then shouldn't you be protecting her? I'll never lose to someone who doesn't even understand that! I swear on the name of my guild! (mad)
4. I'm not done yet. I can't be defeated here! Natsu and Erza are still fighting, we can't give up until they do! Because we're... FAIRY TAIL WIZARDS! (Determined)

Erza Scarlet (Slightly low for a woman) [F]
LINES:
1. For you're accursed 'eternity', how many have been sacrificed in your 'now'! Oppress and steal, Coerce and steal! Hate the other, Destroy the other! Can't you hear this world screaming in agony, Knightwalker?! (Mad and at the last line, beyond mad)
2. Listen for the voices of all living things with all your heart! They're calling out with your true voices! You are not alone! (Trying to convince someone while shouting)
3. I won't allow it! You've commited crimes! You must remember everything! Don't think you can be at ease without knowing anything! Don't expect to be forgiven by the people you've hurt! LIVE AND STRUGGLE! (Angry but slightly pleading)
4. It's not that I was protecting everyone...I was the one always being protected. (Realized something. Slightly soft {not too soft})

Gray Fullbuster (Low) [M]
LINES:
1. Sorry but it doesn't matter if you're a woman or a child. I won't go easy on anybody who hurts my comrades. (Slightly threatening)
2. I won't let him past here, not even over my dead body! Go! To where Erza is! (Trying to convey someone to leave.)
3. Even if it's Ur's will... I have my own will. And I choose to walk on the path LIVING WITH MY COMRADES! (Starts slightly quiet and grows until he is shouting{comrades should be shouted})
4. Your darkness... I will...seal it... (Tired but determined)

Happy the Cat (High)[F/M]
LINES:
1. Erza's magic is beautiful. Plenty of blood comes out at the end. Her opponents blood. (Says it innocently)
2. Charle(as said in anime)! Here's a fish! (Happy)
3. We're not your puppets! We are... MAGES OF FAIRY TAIL! (One of the few times when Happy is serious. Mad, frustrated, and crying{but don't sniff,etc})
4. Aye, sir! (You guys should know)
5. How come I don't have any of that information...(Sad and disappointed)
(And of course I'll add a character..)
WENDY MARVELL AND CHARLE (Both are high but Wendy is slightly higher) [FF]
LINES:
(WENDY)
1. Hello! My name is Wendy Marvell! Oh! I am an Air Dragon Slayer!(Happy. Introducing herself)
2. I wonder if they don't believe me...(A bit doubtful)
3. This seems like a pretty good guild, right Charle?
4. It doesn't matter! Because WE WON'T EVER BE DESTROYED! (Determined)
(Charle)
1. You male-cat can just shut up! You don't even know anything! (Mad and frustrated)
2. Wendy!! (Calling out to her)
3. I...I will protect Wendy! (Determined) (happy/cheerful)

That's all the characters, it's main, which means that they HAVE to be in the movie.
This audition will be different from others.
Here are the changes:
1. There will be 3 (three, trois, etc) Voice actors for each. 1 will be the main one. The other two will be the backup. Because...the movie is coming out in almost 8 months.
2. There will be 3 (three,trois,etc) LEVELS for the audition. Which means there will be a callback.
(A) The first audition (this one) are for the basics of voice acting and microphone quality.
(B) The next one will be more lines with emotions.
(C) The last one will be with attacks, grunts, screams, etc.
At least once every 3 weeks, I will send everyone a voice acting EXERCISE for you to finish to make sure that you are still active and to make sure that you are able to do lines I give you.
3. This fandub will be stricter than most other laid-back ones. I will strictly train you all to have you GIVE ME the best voices you can make with your voice acting.
4. If YOU MAKE IN. You will have to give me a PM every 2 weeks saying that you are active!

Rules for Auditioning:
1. Have a good microphone quality. If you dont't have a good microphone quality, as in you can't scream in it without having static, i'm sorry. I can't accept you.
2. Yeah... MP3 or WAV ONLY! Others are not accepted. Website should be 4shared or any other website where I CAN HEAR THE LINES WITHOUT DOWNLOADING IT!
3. Say each lines more than once. I would want different expressions for each.
4. When you have sent your audition, please reply below, to see i have received it. Accidents do happen and I may not have gotten it.

For SCRIPT WRITERS:
If you would like to be a script writer for this fandub, there will (obviously) be a test for you guys. I will send you a short Japanese clip with subtitles, and I would like you to make an English script for that.
SFX, MUSIC PROVIDERS:
Please just be able to find plenty of SFX that might be useful for the movie. Also for the music.
MIXERS:
Mixing. Just be comfortable being able to mix MANY different voices in one.

A little about me, the producer:
I am fluent in Japanese.. o.o Which means that we WOULD NOT have to wait until the subtitles for the movie comes out. I am very serious about this English Fandub.
It won't be like the others!
WHEN YOU JOIN, IT WILL MAKE ALL YOU VOICE ACTORS THINK THAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY IN A PRODUCING STUDIO.
I will ask you to re-do the lines AS MANY TIMES AS I WANT YOU TO, until I get a line with the emotion I want.

ALL EDITS:
I WILL NOT BE SELF-CASTING. I am a producer. Not a voice actor. But I am very experienced in voice acting. Another thing. I will NOT be casting on the spot. As I said there are three auditions. Pass them all, and you're in. You do NOT have to know this anime/manga by heart. You can just try out for fun. That is fine. Just be determined and serious when it comes to the real thing! ALSO. I WILL NOT BE SCOUTING. NONE AT ALL! It is a waste of my time (seriously..) If you are INTERESTED in this fandub, than you will AUDITION. If you are not. You won't. It's that simple.
Please base it off the original series!... I never watched the English Dub and I'm pretty scared to.. >.<
You can audition as many times as you want! But here's the catch: IF THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE in your voice acting... than that's some marks reduced. Why do you do a re-do? Because you think you've IMPROVED. Not to spam my inbox with your auditions. Good luck to all!
My gosh I'm adding so much more information that I thought I would... Note: I WILL BE PUTTING CRITIQUES ON EACH AUDITION... which means... don't take everything I say to heart. Take that critique and make it a stepping stone for your to improve on voice acting. Everyone can improve somehow.

All that have passed the two levels but did NOT get the main role, I would ask all of you to be different characters when we are doing clips of Fairy Tail. And also, there would be an antagonist, other extras in the movie. And I would like you all to participate in them. So technically, ANYONE THAT PASSED THE 2 LEVELS ARE IN THIS FANDUB! And I DO hope that you are not going to drop out if you do not get the role you want. Here's a tip about VA-ing. You want to try as many different characters. It'll be good practice, I'm sure.
