I have super mixed reviews on this clip, honestly, so I'm going to write out a full critique once I get home from work.

    (EDIT)

Okay, home from work now, and the critiquing begins.

Madoka//Bree - I loved you as Madoka, Bree! I liked how you didn't make her sound angelic-ly soft and it was lovely to hear you in a role like this since it gave you a chance to be less... I know it'll sound stupid, but it gave you a chance to sound less anime. I guess I'm too used to hearing you be all over dramatic when it comes to fandubs since you tend to voice similar characters. You tend to use your higher range a lot, and it can sound a little repetitive, so hearing you use a more softer, less higher range was a lot more warming to my ears. Madoka was a lovely change for you. I do think that you could have added a little more concern in regards to emotion however as Madoka was watching the fight. That's my only nitpick really. I'd love to hear you as Madoka and characters similar to her again!

Sayaka//Sydsnap - Definitely the best casting choice in this clip and my favorite. I know you got the role through auditions, but I honestly couldn't hear anyone else voicing Sayaka. Your voice fits perfectly, and you definitely have the tomboyish vocal range down. I just wish your mic quality was a little better. However, like others have pointed out already, I do think that you made Sayaka juuuuuust a tad too peppy. You do seem to know the character well though, and I could definitely see that in your performance. I just think that the amount of pep you put into the voice was a little too much to make it sound unrealistic. I know it's anime, and anime is all crazy and stuff, but I think with this series, it needs a more serious approach. I did love you in this though, and I'd love to hear more.

Kyouko//MissAck - When I found out that you were voicing Kyouko, I was so excited! Like, really excited. I just knew you would fit her perfectly. However when I watched this, I... I'll be honest. I was kinda disappointed. I couldn't help but feel that you sounded bored when you were recording for this. I couldn't really feel the character at all. If anything, she's almost as peppy as Sayaka is, so I was kinda thinking that this would be a pretty easy and fun role for you since you're so good at those types of characters. Please don't misunderstand hun, your tone is perfect, but the emotions just sounded kinda dull. Most of your lines had the same delivery so it sounded very repetitive and there wasn't enough oomph. I couldn't get into it. Your normal speaking lines were pretty on the dot, but even then, they still sounded a little bored. I KNOW you can make this a perfect role. I know that you can make Kyouko yours. I just think that you need to watch all of the show and get to know her character better.

Kyubey//Bryson - I was surprised by this role, too, Bryson. You also sounded a little bored, honestly. Your voice fits Kyubey perfectly though, and I definitely prefer having a guy voice him since having a girl voice him in my opinion is just expected and it sounds repetitive since it's done all the time. I think a little more emotion is needed for Kyubey since he's very eager to get Madoka to form a contract because he's a little git. He may look as though he has no personality, but he's a little git with a horrible plot. I still liked you voicing him though.

Homura//Amanda Lee - There was only one line, so I don't have anything to critique. It sounded nice though.

Mixing - The audio levels have been sorted now, so I have no complaints apart from the BG music being a tad too loud.

    Great clip! <3

That was a cool clip yep yep

Madoka- At first I thought the voice should be a tad softer but overall I still enjoyed it and thought it worked really well. Acting was strong and believable all around. Great job~

Sayaka- Like I said before I thought the voice works great, but you portray her a bit too happy-go-lucky for the scenes she's in. It's fine when it's an explicitly goofy scene but otherwise I think it's better to focus on making her more modest and sincere. The lines you did when encouraging madoka were good and all, but because I felt like you were going the extra mile to put this cheerful tone in your voice they didn't sound as convincing as they could be (it's just a little hard to take her seriously). Battle sounds and the like were great, you needed a bit more oomph on that one attack yell but overall you did a fine job.

Kyoko- Hmm I think the voice needs to be adjusted a little. You give her a rather pompous arrogant tone, which works but she's a tomboy too and that doesn't really come out here. Perhaps a thinner or raspier voice would fit better, your voice I can see fitting Mami or someone though. As for the acting, it wasn't very convincing because it seemed like you were trying to portray with just the emotion of being a pompous brat. A lot of lines were delivered in a similar fashion and it just made her personality dull. She really needs some extra spunk. Anyways just some things to think about.

Kyuubei- ha I'm not really too keen on the idea for a boy voicing him, think it makes him sound less cute and creepy and more just silly. Still that's just me and there was nothing wrong with your line delivery, so good job~

Homura- One glorious line ha. I enjoyed it though, too bad you didn't have more..

Normally I feel the same way with cutesy magical characters but I just felt like trying something different at the time.

    Thanks for watching

Madoka: I was also thinking "Madoka should have a softer tone" but I grew accustomed to it and enjoyed the clip overall. Acting wise, I thought it was fantastic.

Sayaka: This is a little tricky since I have mixed feelings about the way you portrayed Sayaka. I think the happy and cheery attitude should have been toned down a little bit since I felt that she was a little too happy. Does that make sense? Anyway, at one point I think I heard you say "lies" instead of "lives." That or my headphones are playing tricks on me.

Kyoko: While hyperknees is not so fond of this, I think her voice and the way you portrayed her was fitting. However, I do agree that some of her lines were delivered in a similar fashion and it just made her personality dull.

Kyuubey: I also have mixed feelings for Sukisho's decision on this but I think Bryson's take on Kyuubey was an interesting take. It doesn't happen often that a boy would do such a nice job of portraying Kyuubey and when they do it's usually really good, this is no exception.

Homura: For the love of God! MOAR!

Now I know there is mixed feelings on Bryson as Kyuubey, but, the inner director in me, praises Sukisho for picking him as ol koobie.
Kyuubey is not your typical magi girl mascot, he's not cute and bubbly, or clumsy or comical, he's bloody demented. Showing that huge difference is what makes Kyuubey's role so potent and stands out, picking a voice that can sound cute, but have that inner twist of apathy and demonic really goes to the type of vocal prowess that Bryson can pull off so well, and it really hooked me into this clip, he made kyuubey feel real.
That said he was definitely my favorite voice out of this clip, everyone else did a good job as well and did give the characters a good sense of life in this messed up world of Madoka, even if there some lines that can be tweaked a bit (notably in the first few lines of Syd's take on Sayaka), but I bought the voice, so she really redeemed herself in the end.

I hope to see more clips from you on this Suki, you really have a stellar cast in your hands
