I decided to put this together on short notice, just because this movie is going to be AMAZING! I wouldn't be surprised if I try to dub it when it comes out. Probably not, but crazier things have happened!

    Male Agent: SaigoSentinel
    Female Agent: CarissaM

    Enjoy!

SaigoSentinel: I'd like to say you did come off agent-like, but that was, unfortunately, your focus in your read. I could hear your intent in trying to sound mysterious and agent-like which affected your ability to sound natural and not over-acted. The tone you used was also youthful-sounding and kind of forced (to conceal it), which was jarring when an older man appeared. For the most part, I would recommend to watch how you approach a character - don't try to act like you're an agent-type character, try to convey the character of "a mature, jaded adult seeking answers." The visual of the man in sunglasses speaks loud and clear of the character being an agent of some sort. So your over-emphasized speech to convey that not needed because the script should be strong enough to compliment your voice acting. If your deliberate speech was used to enhance the desire to seek an answer, it would have come across much better.

CarissaM: You have a fitting womanly tone which, in this case, works for a generic female voice with no visual. What detracted from your voice was your reads. Every read sounded the same - straightforward, bored, and read (like you were reading from a script). I'm unsure of what your intent was for this particular character, but your motivation to act didn't seem very strong to me. I can only assume that you're new to voice acting (and acting in general) given those weaknesses and the quality of your mic. Rest assure that you're not alone and ways to practice and improve are everywhere in this community. What you should focus on is how to 1) actively convey a specific character personality through your voice and 2) how to make a script come alive through interpretation. Think about what tone, your speed, and which pitch you want to aim for, then add on adjectives like (passive, serious, soft-spoken) to craft the base of a character. Practice, study, learn, and you will find what works.

I hope my words were helpful in some way to be worthwhile in future projects. I know how it is to receive strong critique, so don't be discouraged if you're serious about voice acting. As a sidenote, I'm looking forward to this film as well as a big .hack// fan myself. Hopefully, it'll be something to satisfy the fandom. =]

Thanks Ramune! Yeah, I agree with your critique for me. There were times I'd watch it, and think I should have taken a more natural approach to it. Thanks for critiquing! Also, Carissa's mic quality is like that because I attempted to make it sound like a "phone conversation" effect. XD
