Amanda is correct. Whether you're cast or not you're not allowed to say the title of the anime. It's just an industry thing. It's been hard for me to hide what it is as well but it's the rules.

I've had some even more impersonal and cold auditions— once, I waited for hours, they called my number, I walked in, I said my name, they asked me to walk to the other side of the room, and that was it. Of course, it was a movement audition, so I wasn't expecting to a monologue or burst into song, but still, wow. And I did end up getting a part!
By the way, how does one even get an audition with FUNimation? Do I just need an agent?
An agent is not necessary to audition. I am a voice actress with no professional experience, no coach, and no agent but I still got in. Not only that but bumped to the top after only one week, no connections, and to this closed audition non-the-less.
If you're willing to put in the effort you will be rewarded.

Were do you go to find out were their holding their next audition and what location
To somewhat answer that question. They're all pretty much in Flower Mound, Texas. As that is where FUNimation is located. You'll never really know when the next audition is until you get called in. So if you're on the waiting list, do just that and wait. And if you aren't, hopefully some of your auditions are already possibly floating around and directors will hear you. So yeah![]()
