  1. #1 Helo! Miss Branson has arrived!
    Greetings all!

    I have only just recently signed up to this website. I have always loved the acting and media since I was a kid. Always wanted to find out how they did those special effects, put voices on to cartoons etc. I wish I could say i'm well into that industry but unfortunately i've never been in the right place at the right time. ;_;
    I am hoping to meet a bunch of you lovely peoples here, learn from you and work on my voice over skills too. I'm willing to do anything from flash, machinimas, games you name it! This is something I am so enthusiastic about and always have been so I very much doubt i'll get bored. I love hard work and a team to work with.

    One question though, I have a mic to get started but I don't think it is clear enough. Can anybody recommend me a good one but within the price range of up to £30? I'm quite poor Thank you in advance

    Hope you all have a lovely evening ^^

    Kind regards,

    R.Branson~

    I use one of those microphones that you get with the Rock Band video games. Definitely nothing special, but it's pretty good at getting rid of reverb and it's precise enough to pick up just your voice while filtering out ambient noise or just that general buzzing static that comes with a computer's built-in mike or a VOIP application microphone.
