Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 is a manga series in the Digimon franchise that follows the adventures of a young boy named Taichi who finds himself somehow transported to the Digital World, a strange world where creatures known as Digimon live. The series follows him and his Digimon partner, Zero, a Veedramon, as well as other allies they meet along their journey, as they try to save the Digital World from destruction at the hands of an incredibly powerful and evil Digimon known as Demon.
This is going to be a fandub of a specific chapter of the series. The chapter that will be dubbed is about two villains of the series, Neo Saiba and Hideto Fujimoto. It shows their past and goes into their backstory and motivations.
I won't be giving out any critiques. Sorry. I'm a terrible critic, I doubt I'd be able to give you anything very constructive.
Recording and Contact Info
I would prefer that you send your audition to me via e-mail at mcaulfield93@yahoo.com with each character’s lines that you’re auditioning for in separate MP3 or WAV audio files with the format YourName_CharacterName. In other words, keep all lines for a single character in the same audio file, but different characters’ lines should be in separate files.
However, honestly, those are just my preferences. I’m not going to be too picky about how I receive it. So long as it gets to me, I won’t hold it against you, be it uploading to MegaUpload or some other file sharing website, posting it on YouTube and sending it to me (http://www.youtube.com/shinigami1300), whatever. I will tell you however that sending it to my e-mail is definitely the best way to make sure that I do get it, as I check it fairly often.
Though, please do include with the audition something telling me the name with which you’d like to be credited in the final production, should you get a part. (VAA username, VAC username, YouTube username, your real name, or whatever pseudonym you like to use for voice acting projects, it doesn’t matter)

Neo Saiba
Description: Neo is a young Digimon Tamer who was brought to the Digital World by Demon in order to raise a powerful Digimon that he could use to destroy the Digital World. He wants to help Demon destroy the Digital World so that he can create a new one in its place under his own rule. He’s arrogant about his skills as a tamer and can be very cruel at times, but there are some instances where he shows a softer side. He treats his Digimon as expendable, and will throw one away without hesitation in favor of a better one if he sees it as too weak. In this chapter, we see Neo both in the present day and in flashbacks of him before he came to the Digital World. Past Neo is very cocky and a bit of an anti-social jerk, but still a good person at heart, and shows kindness towards the people close to him. Present-day Neo, on the other hand, is much more cruel. He’s cold and uncaring towards other people. Deadset on reaching his goals, it doesn’t matter to him who gets hurt as a result of his actions.

2: [creepy and evil-sounding] You look tired, Rei. Why don’t you go rest for a while?
3: I’ll take over the Digital World, and turn the whole thing into raw data. Then I can mold it into whatever I want. If I were to become the leader of that world … of Neo World … then anything would be possible.
PAST
4: [calm and cocky] You’re Hideto Fujimoto, right? I’ve heard you’re the best Digimon player in the whole school. I challenge you!
5: Don’t be stupid! He’s not a friend, he’s a Digimon Tamer. In other words, a rival. I think he’ll be a pretty good rival, though.
6: That’s because you’re still using those weak monsters. If it were me, I’d have deleted them a while ago.
Hideto Fujimoto

Rei Saiba
Description: Rei is Neo’s sister, who was somehow brought to the Digital World as well. She has a very kind-hearted and cheerful personality. Just like Neo, she is shown both in the present-day and in flashbacks but, unlike him, her personality doesn’t see much change between her past self and present self.
Voice type: Young female. Medium to Medium-High.

2: Is it true that you’re trying to destroy this world? Please stop it! The Digimon in this world can talk and laugh and cry, just like humans! Why would you want to destroy them?

EXTRAS
As far as voice type is concerned, no real indication is given as to what any of these characters sound like, so you’re free to play around with the voice and do whatever you think works. Also, for all of these parts, their audition lines are their only lines, so if you are chosen for any of them, then your audition line(s) will be used in the final product. Because of this, I ask that you read all of the lines exactly as they’re written, without paraphrasing, since the spoken lines have to be the same as what’s written on the page.

Description: One of Neo’s Digimon in the present day.

1: Neo. Hideto has returned.
Classmates
Description: Classmates of Neo and Hideto in the flashback part. They can be either male or female. Depending on how many auditions I get, two or more people will be chosen.
Lines
1: He just transferred into the class next door yesterday.
2: Whoa! Hide’s monster actually lost! (Important Note: “Hide” is pronounced He-day, not Hyde. It’s short for Hideto.)
3: I can’t believe it! Hide’s the best in the whole county!
4: [Record a little bit of ad-lib of some things that some of the kids in a crowd would be saying after seeing the school’s Digimon champion dethroned by a new guy.]
Nurses
Description: Female nurses at a hospital. Depending on how many auditions I get, either one or two people will be chosen.
