That was quite enjoyable!
Cydonia, your natural accent works really well for Vanille. You made her sound sweet, and my favorite part was when she apologized to Serah--I thought that sounded quite genuine on your part. Just up the energy a tad, because even though she's not particularly peppy here, putting some force/confidence into your deliveries would make a greater impact for this kind of character.
Kauritsuo, you have a voice that sounds good, earthy, and honest. But I will say that I thought you sounded a bit too old and straightforward for Serah; I didn't quite hear the tenderness I expected to. Still, it was good, and furthermore I really think you'd be well suited for her sister, Lightning. :3 I wouldn't mind hearing your rendition some time.
Murdog, I heard your Snow before and it's still really great. Maybe make him just a tad deeper but that's just about the only nitpick.
Great acting everyone! The mixing really didn't matter to me because as you said, the voices deserved more attention lol.
This is really good. OwO
<3
Serah - The voice is REALLY well done. I like it better than Laura's. It makes her not seem like she's pathetic. She's got BAWLS. The acting really well done too X3 Very kind and Serah like.
Vanille - You've always made a fantastic Vanille =3 you've got her down-pat.
Snow - I felt your take was too high D= Unless I'm just used to STEEL GUARD. The acting was solid though ^.^ I could hear that badass "I'm Snow. End of Story" in some of your lines ;3
Can I bite you anyway? 83c
-The mixing was FIIINEEE. Don't beat yourself up XD
Thank you for your honesty! Yeah I know my voice is different from laura's,,, but Holly really doesnt like her so I tried to make it my own. It may of been a little deeper than it should of been, But what can you do. I would love to attempt lighting someday! But I felt like serah was underrated cause she was so annoying with lauras voice! Hhaha. Thanks again
Thank's very much! >u< it means a lot! D8
I feel everyone took their own way of doing all the lines and for that it turned out great~~ Thanks for letting me be apart of it holly!<3
Jake we need to do that other clip of snow and serah >u< Someday!

Thank you for watching, Damaru! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Although, I'm going to disagree with you on upping the energy. This is a pretty solemn and dramatic moment for Vanille since she feels so much grief, and she doesn't even sound all that energetic in the original. The whole reason why I wanted to do this clip was because Vanille isn't sounding excited; she's a lot more serious here, and I wanted to give that side of her a shot. I honestly think I gave her just the right amount of energy to portray how she was feeling. Too much energy would have made her sound annoying and kinda fake which would have ruined the scene, I think. I do appreciate your critique though, and I'm not going to disregard it at all. <3
Glad to see that fandubbing FFXIII isn't dead! I've been itching for a little of the game myself lately. Let's get started, shall we?
First thing's first, what really impressed me was Kauritsuo and the decision you made casting her. Her performance definitely adds that extra something about a character I thought otherwise to be unlikable. Like MissAck said, she didn't sound so pathetic and sounded like a character you could root for. It also added some age which gave a bigger understanding towards Serah and really made it seem like she knew what she was talking about. Very convincing performance and the acting was top-notch!
Secondly, Cydonia. I've heard your Vanille plenty of times to know I like your performance a ton more than Georgia's. Like you said, this was a serious moment and you handled it with flying colors. No spunk at all, and that's what needed to be there was a girl who's going through turmoil. It seemed like you really put yourself in Vanille's shoes. Top-notch, indeed!
Thirdly, I'd like to say I'm going to throw the bias of Troy Baker's performance out the window. As much as I loved that performance, I'd like to give you an honest critique. As much as you were around, Murdog, I immediately warmed up to your performance. I can't really say much, to be honest. Smooth, likable, and very cool. I would like to say I especially found your naturalistic approach to Snow incredible. So much flow and, like I said to Cydonia, it seems like you put yourself in Snow's shoes. Again, top-notch!
And for lazy mixing, it actually wasn't that bad, besides a few audible mouse clicks. I'm not going to piss on your parade, haha.
Hope to see some more in the future! Cast was absolutely spectacular and that certainly made up for whatever "lazy" mixing there was.

Haven't had a chance to play FFXIII, but it's always nice to hear different approaches to these roles from people I don't know as well as I feel I should.
Cydonia: Your natural accent worked nicely for this. Your acting stayed away from being cute, and hit the spot between that and honest/open-minded. They were pleasantly natural deliveries and thought it gave Vanille the type of sound needed for her to stand out while not stealing the show.
Murdog: Even with a higher range than what Troy Baker offered, I liked how you approached your acting for Snow. My favorite line was your first one; you managed to offer an honest air of toughness while sincerely missing Serah. I felt that, and you kept that consistency throughout your lines. Lower range or not, you still sounded like a big guy without sounding forced.
Karitsuo: I have to echo InstraClassic's comment about the interesting casting choice. Not exactly the sound I imagine Serah having. The alto maturity was jarring, but unique in a good way. I certainly would have liked to hear much more from you in terms of energy behind your reads. Your acting was accurate, but didn't ring true as precisely as I had hoped. In a few words, your reads sounded very similar (i.e. tired and not very sincere) and there were points where I heard uncertainty in your delivery. Again, your sound was an interesting diversion from the norm, but I had trouble buying into your performance.
I've been listening to all of you for a long time now. Would be great to have a chance to work with you three some time when the opportunity presents itself. =]
You guys, I genuinely forgot who was behind the voices after a while and had to remind myself that this was a fandub. I'm sure it'll come to a surprise what the official voices are if I ever play the game, but you made your characters very real. Don't have much to say since I don't know how it's 'supposed' to go, just know I was really impressed. Somehow I knew Serah's voice wasn't supposed to be that low but jeez, it probably sounds more realistic than whatever they used for the game itself.
