Since Pokemon is not my original series, I guess this thread goes here.
Character designed using the Pokemon Trainer Dress Up game by Hapuriainen.
Pokemon Canada is about Tim Fry, a 20-year-old who once wanted to be a Pokemon trainer, but was forced to wait ten years after Parliament passed a bill stating that trainers could not be under 20. During the additional decade, Tim developed other interests and decided to e-mail the local professor requesting to drop out of the Maple League trip when the time came. But after the big fuss that was made in 2001 when the law was passed, Tim finds his request was rejected due to demands that had to be met in order to pacify the incensed 10-year-old aspiring trainers. This means, despite his interest in Pokemon training flying out the window at age 15, he still has to go on the journey along with his fellow first-timers from Ontario...
The first episode - "Where'd this Pokedex come from?" - is missing a voice actress for five rolls. A bored desk clerk, Tim's enthusiastic mum, a news reporter, a nerdy soon-to-be pokemon trainer named Miranda, and a girly soon-to-be pokemon trainer named Miriam.
Audition lines:
Clerk - "Take a ticket and have a seat over there."
Tim's Mum - "Good luck, Timmy! You can do it!"
News Reporter - "We apologize for not catching this error sooner."
Miranda - "God, I love medicine. Uh, the study of medicine, that is."
Miriam - "Dibs on the hammock!"
Once I find someone, I would like the lines in by the end of November. Also, when I eventually move on to episode 2, I will most likely request different actresses for future female parts. For now, since I'm only on episode 1, I just want to start with one actress and move forward from there.
Please send your auditions in either wav or mp3 format. It's up to you whether or not you put them in a ZIP file.
