As much as I love Saban, their production seems a bit....dated. I mean with RPM, I felt that Power Rangers was finally moving forward. It was breaking out of it shell and doing something dark and edger. It was different, mature, and it worked for the new generation of RP fans. It felt like Power Rangers actually finally came of age. When I looked at Samurai, it felt like a step back to me. I think Samurai would have worked better back in the golden age of Power Rangers but that's the thing.....after RPM, things should have moved forward and be came more mature while Samurai just feels like it is stuck in the past. It is like going from a muscle car to a tricycle. Personally, I love Saban and the golden age of Power Rangers but if it is going to survive, they have to mature and go to the next level that RPM opened a road to.
