Taking the advice I've been given so far, here's my re-recorded demo reel! As always, constructive criticism and commentary is appreciated. Enjoy!

You have some good character range in there, but I found the mic popping too distracting. Use this guide to help improve your recording.

The "I love you" part at the end came off sounding more 'sleepy' than 'smitten', but your other characters were pretty good.

All in all, not a bad first effort. It'll be many times better once you tackle those technical issues!

Thank you very much! I appreciate your honesty and criticism. I'll make sure to work on those 'plosives and other issues from the link you provided!

I will agree with lapianoman here. Your ability to create characters is impressive, but the popping is VERY distracting. To fix that, you could try the following.

    1) For a quick and cheap fix, move the microphone so it's to the side of your face. This should prevent most of the air from hitting the mic. It won't stop all of it, though, and you may notice that your recordings sound a little quieter.

    2) If you want to do the job properly, buy or create your own pop filter. This is sort of like a cloth screen that you put between you and the microphone. It will catch any air moving toward the mic. It's definitely something worth looking into.

#2 in the Saisei Project. After defeating the Four Saint Beasts,
Yusuke and friends go to Chu's tavern for a victory lunch,
only to stumble across a grisly new case when Kuwabara

Thanks for taking the time to critique my demo reel! I've looked into getting a pop filter, so I made my own out of some nylon cloth and a cheap badminton racket. XD The advice was definitely helpful!
