SOUL BLAZER EPISODE 2 GREENWOOD

For those who are not already familiar with the game Soul Blazer is a classic Action RPG for the SNES. In this game you play the role of a young man (whose official default name is Blazer) who was sent into the world from the heavens by his Master to fight the forces of evil. This fandub of the game is made possible by the fine work of Youtube user SaikyoMog who was gracious enough to allow me to use his footage. The 2nd episode of this fandub will cover the 2nd stage of the game Greenwood where you save a forest filled with talking but non-anthropomorphic animals however unlike the first episode there is considerably less dialogue. In which yes I will admit a lot of characters in this stage were ignored but there is still some good roles here.
Audition Rules and Guidelines
Deadline: August 5th, 2012 (if I have enough auds by then of course)
1. For Audio files I would mainly go with MP3 (but I will accept Wave files as well).
2. Please Label your lines as Username_Character_Line Number such as Pokejedservo_LightMole_Line#1
3. Please Label your zipped folder as “Username_SoulBlazerEp1Auds”
4. I am willing to accept multiple takes (preferably on different audio files) but it is purely optional.
5. I normally try to be a flexible guy but I do have one rule that you should not break no rar files! I repeat NO .RAR FILES! My computer cannot open them and if you send them that way I will have to ask you to send them in a different way. If you are unable to make any zipped folders then you could e-mail the audio clips as attachments to the e-mail. (But I would recommend doing the “All Audition Lines in one clip” if that is necessary.) Or upload the clips to a site where I can download them.
6. Last but not least I will accept video auditions such as Youtube however of course you should inform me if you do such a thing in this thread.

(*= Character will only have one line in the episode so if you are cast I will most likely just use your audition.)
MALES
Light Mole
Voice Type: Moderately High to High, nasally, calm
Bio: The Second "Soul of" Ability in the game (much like the Elderly Mage from the 1st stage). However this mole who is working for the Master is a creature that will lighten up certain areas and would make invisible enemies visible again. However unlike the Elderly Mage the Light Mole's ability is pretty much only used in this stage.
Lines:
#1: (Calm Introduction) "I am the creature who brings light to darkness. I will help you upon your return."
#2: (Cheerful) "Even though I don’t look like it, I am from the sky just like you. I light up the darkness. You cheer up everyone. Let’s work together to revive the world."
Guard Mole
Voice Type: Moderately High, scratchy, bitter
Bio: A seemingly ordinary mole who will block a certain passage unless you give him something that belonged to a female mole by the name of Monmo. Though the reason why will be told later on in the stage.
Line
#1: (Firm with a slight bit of bitterness) "You must bring me something that once belonged to Monmo."
Crocodile
Voice Type: Moderately Low, Gruff, Tempremental, Optional Light Australian Accent
Bio: In this stage Crocodiles are basically bridges that you can use to access certain parts of Greenwood. And while this Croc doesn't seem to like being used as a Bridge however your not in any danger from the Crocodiles in Greenwood.
Line
#1: (Angry, Demanding) "Who are you? Are you trying to walk all over me?!"
Turbo*
Voice Type: Moderate to Moderately Low, Slightly Gruff, Kind & Gentle
Bio: One of Lisa's pets and is known as the protector of Greenwood's animals unfortunately Turbo was killed when he was trying to protect Greenwood from Deathtoll's forces. However you end up talking to Turbo's spirit over the course of the 2nd stage.
(Note: Since Turbo is a ghost if you like you can to do some vocal effects to sound a little more ghostly but this is purely optional.)
Line
#1: (Calmly instructing on what you should do) "Blazer, go to the Light Shrine and release the Guardian of the Woods. You will find what you are looking for. There is a bird, Tiki, that may tell you how to use the raft. You must protect Greenwood now that I am gone."
Talking Raft*
Voice Type: Moderate, Scratchy
Bio: Another creation from Dr. Leo but as you try to progress through the shrines there is a Raft that will refuse to allow you to ride it since your not a Greenwood resident. However if you give the Raft some Greenwood Leaves from Turbo's grave then they will let you pass.
Line
#1: (Excited at first then calm) "Those are leaves from Greenwood! Turbo’s symbol!
We will take you to the Light Shrine."
Exposition Mole
Voice Type: Moderately High to High, Scratchy, Calm
Bio: A friend of the Guard Mole and Monmo (and was also in a love triangle with them). This mole will tell you about the sad story regarding Monmo and the Guard Mole and will give you the Shield Bracelet.
Line
#1: (Slightly confused, then a bit more somber) "Suddenly he appeared, I had no idea what happened to him. Anyways, take this Braclet and revive Greenwood. I know those two moles would have liked to live here in peace."
Wood's Guardian
Voice Type: Low, Deep, Calm, Sagacious
Bio: The last living creature you release in this stage is the only fully grown tree in this game that can speak. (Well technically it was already there when you first start the stage but it regains its sentience when you beat the stage.) Anyways this Guardian will be the one to give you the Green Stone so you can advance to the next stage.
Line
#1: (Very Calm tone) "I am the Guardian of the Woods. I have been watching the world for a long time. Blazer, a dog named Turbo has buried something near my roots. You will need this Green Stone someday, so please take it."
FEMALES
Bird (Stump's Dream) *
Voice Type: Moderately High to High, Cute, Calm, Soothing
Bio: You can place the Dream Rod on a sleeping tree stump in this stage and while you can unlock a certain area in the stage in the stump's dream but you can talk to the bird in the dream. Because apparently this Tree Stump wishes that it is a bird.
Line
#1: (Calmly stating its deepest desire) "Even though I am a stump in real life, I often dream that I am a bird and can fly wherever I wish."
Tiki
Voice Type: High, Cute, Sad
Bio: This little bird was first seen asleep nearby Turbo's grave in which we get to meet Turbo inside Tiki's dream. However after when we get out of Tiki's dream Tiki does give some info on what to do next.
Line
#1: (Very Scared, Pleading) "Turbo, wait!"
Monmo
Voice Type: Moderately High, Cute, Friendly
Bio: The sole female mole in this episode (and the only one that was actually given a name). Monmo is a female mole whom was first seen outside her hole and wishes for you to help her find a way back home.
Lines
#1: (Nicely requesting some help) "My name is Monmo the mole. This place is so bright I cannot see. Would you please lead me to my house? I will follow you."
#2: (Happily Eager to reward your helper) "I’ll give you a present, could you wait here?"
MALE/FEMALE
Hungry Squirrel
Voice Type: High, Cute, slightly strained due to being hungry.
Bio: One of the various squirrels that you release over the course of the stage, in this fetch quest if you manage to find the delicious seeds you can exchange them for the 2nd sword in the game the Psycho Sword. (Though how did a Squirrel manage to hold onto a sword is anybody's guess.)
Line
#1: (feeling a little hunger pain) "Oh I am starving… If someone can bring me something to eat I will exchange this powerful sword with them…..
Emblem holding Squirrel*
Voice Type: High, Cute, Calm
Bio: This squirrel is released later on in the stage and will give you the Master's Emblem C. Unlike the Hungry Squirrel you do not need to get anything for it so the Squirrel will just give you the Emblem just to repay you.
Line
#1. (Very grateful) "Thank you for releasing me I will give you this."
