Just found out about this yesterday from one of my VA friends. Definitely plan on submitting something before tomorrow night's deadline. (last minute it seems ^^; )

I can't seem to find any male audition lines. I'd submit my animation reel but I'm still in the process of getting it set up over at Edge Studios in NYC. (should have it recorded by the next meeting there or so. ^^; )

Any idea of what they are looking for, for the male voices?

I'm guessing mostly teen and young adult male voices. You can use anything on the male characters' profiles for the recording lines, even if they aren't dialogue. Just read them as though it's the character talking about himself. Two examples:

You could also do what I did for my demo reel: If you keep the files that you recorded for auditions for various projects, you can just put those together into a demo reel. One time for one of my earlier demo reels, I just recited "The Jabberwocky" from "Alice in Wonderland" and did each stanza in a different character voice. Just whatever works to showcase the kinds of voices you can do. Or, since this is somewhat anime-esque, use quotes from various anime shows/characters.

Wonderful ^_^ Thanks a bunch. Yeah, I figured something like that but I didn't want to just send them anything since I'm still short an animation reel. I'm in touch with them as we speak and they gave me some lines as well to try out. Of course, as the post goes, they are looking for more female than male voices for this project.
