Wig help? OwO (Catherine, Corkscrew Curls)

So, hi! I'm planning on cosplaying as Catherine from Catherine this November (Or February if I'm late), but I'm running into a few problems.

So, her outfit is simple enough, (although since most stores are getting fall clothing in it'll be a pain) but her wig is my main issue. If you don't know her hairstyle, here it is: http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq...hugoo1_500.jpg

I have found various tutorials, but most of them confuse me, in all honesty. I'm fairly sure I'll need to use a wire of some sort, but how do I get the hair to nicely stick to the wire, and then how do I attach it to the base wig?
I have gotten a commission quote, which was a bit pricey for my dinky part-time job, but I'll just end up buying it if I can't figure out anything else, I'm afraid. (Not that it's bad; the wig stylist is fabulous. I'll just be broke for like, ever afterwards.)
If I could get any help with this, I'd appreciate it. <3

Hmm.. Also, while I'm asking, what should I do about eyelash glue if I'm allergic to latex? OwO

Hey, I have a Catherine costume I finished in febuary when the game came out! The wig wasn't as bad as I antipatied, it was actually a lot of fun! I have a photoshoot scheduled for Saturday in a bar actually to actually get pictures!
I can try and explain how I did it, but since I don't have pictures it may be a bit difficult. What did the commissioner charge? I could do it for you for the price of the wig + labor. =]

Only thing is since I'm blonde naturally, I'm looking for a more white-blonde than yellow blonde. (or maybe not "white" exactly, but yeah. xD I'm confusing.) It looks absolutely fantastic! DD

..I'm not sure if we should discuss it here, but the commissioner I got the quote from is charging $91. I'd love it if you could help me out in any way at all though! *A* Umm.. maybe I can PM you about it when I get off of work? :3

I went with the coloring from the cover, since I did this a LONG time ago, and the color looks better with my skin tone as well =] I'd be able to work with you for whatever color you'd want if you'd like! Feel free to PM me and we can talk though. 91 is a bit much in my opinion for her wig.
