Loading video right now! I do have to apologize to everyone for having issues during the Bink's Sake clip, as life had a way of bum rushing me at that time, but seeing that it will meet fruition either way, I am pleased. I hope I get to play Luffy in the future with you fine voice actors, but even if I don't, it was great to work with some familiar faces and fresh talents, so I have no regrets in the end. Anyway, to the clip!

There were some audio level problems with some people sounding louder then others by a good margin (I started to annoy myself XD) but the music timing, lip flaps, and overall style of mixing was very solid. I love everyone's take on the character! It was good to hear Magic Kaito and Shift in their respectful roles again, and I thought everyone else did a great job giving me great fitting voices in each role. I can't wait to see more! On to Bink's Sake! Yohohohoho!

Sorry to hear you were going through all that back then. If your schedule meets with the last 5 clips whenever they start production, I'd be more than happy to have you back as Luffy!

The loudness was probably due to me converting some of the mono recordings to stereo. The dynamic processing probably didn't help things much. You were already loud in your initial recordings and well...yeah. XD; I probably should have lowered the volume on the individual files. But, I'm glad you enjoyed it, Travis!

Luffy: As a whole I found the acting to be very solid but as the clip went on I found the voice to be rather grating. All-in-all I'm not a big fan of the male voice for Luffy because many go into the high-pitched, scratchy territory which I find irritating. However, thats just my personal choice on Luffy's voice so don't pay to much mind to it.

Zoro: While I found the voice appropriate enough you did sound somewhat muffled. Now I'm not quite sure if it was a quality issue or a performence issue but if it is a latter I would say to speak up more when using that particular voice, though the exertion sounds and grunts sounded fine. Also I would've liked to hear the speaking voice a tad bit lower but again thats more of a personal choice.

Nami: While acceptable, overall I found the performence to be a bit lacking. I felt that the voice sounded too young and that the acting itself wasn't on par with Nami's character, usually coming off as sounding too "nice" or too "gentle". The best example being her "relief" line, the younger voice really makes itself known and there isn't very much emotion backing up the line negatively effecting the overall performence.

Usopp: Again an acceptable performence but the main drawback being not having "malleable energy". While the normal dialogue is fine, lines that require more energy or emotion tend to stay at the same level and don't give enough of an impact. Examples being Usopp's opening laugh and Usopp's lines in the crow's nest. However, the lines about being defensive about his nose and mother did come off strong though this does have the down side or making the rest of the performence feel weaker in comparison.

Sanji: Overall an alright performence acting wise for both normal and "lovestruck" Sanji. However, there were some consistency issues with the voice. You sometimes sounded slightly younger and some lines feel rather unnatural when spoken, sounding like you are just reading the lines and not acting the lines. Examples being "Impossible" and "If you can't eat it, we don't need it".

Chopper: While the voice and acting were fine the quality of your mic really took me out of the scene and was an incredible detriment to your performence.

Robin: As with Chopper your quality is a big hinderance to you. However, I also felt that the voice and the acting weren't up to par either. With the voice sounding far too young and the acting feeling very "empty".

Franky: A solid performence acting and voice wise though I do feel you needed more energy. This really shows during your "Oh hay, what the heck is that?" line.

Editing: There were some leveling issues with some lines coming in too soft or too loud. Also when Luffy was in the air shouting I would have added reverb just to give the line some extra oomph. SFX for the most part I feel were done rather well but again there were some leveling issues here and there.

Yeah, I don't think this was my best performance either. I totally forgot about this clip and it's been so long since I've done my lines for it. If I remembered, I would have totally asked to redo them. Sorry about that guys. ^^'

I do agree a 100% with me being muffled. I believed those lines were recorded late 09' early 10' so I admit back then, I was rusty, but yeah, enunciation is something I am working very hard on. As for the speaking voice it's a choice, but I can always try lower.

To be honest, I am just glad to see it's done because I know how much of a hard time Ryusuke had making it so good job for everyone.

Yeah I know, it was hard for me to use that voice without losing my breath back then but I think I can do it now with a little more effort.

Thank you for the critique! ^^

Big thanks to SakasaJinei for the sig

And I've hit another roadblock. Bink's Sake will be delayed for a bit. But, for now, any other critiques out there?
