Hello, everyone! After watching (and becoming obsessed with) a certain series, I have decided to do clip dubs of it! As the thread title says, the show is called:
SERIES PLOT (WITHOUT SPOILERS)

There exist "Messengers of Magic" who have the power to grant one wish to a chosen girl. However, that girl must then become a magical girl and fight against witches, evil creatures born from curses that are responsible for murders and suicides. A school girl named Madoka Kaname and her friend Sayaka Miki are approached by a familiar named Kyubey and magical girl named Mami Tomoe with offers of becoming magical girls, while another magical girl, Homura Akemi, tries to prevent Madoka and friends from making such a deal...
RULES
1. Record in .wav or .mp3 format (the latter is preferred); Absolutely no background noise is to be heard.
2. Record each line individually with at least three different takes on said line. Label each line as "Username_character_line#" (ex. "Rhapsody~Duskbane_Kyoko_line1")
3. Put all recorded lines into one zipped file and label said file as "Username_MadokaMagicaclips" (ex. "Rhapsody~Duskbane_MadokaMagicaclips")
4. Email the zipped file to Sbreido@yahoo.com
5. I will give critiques but ONLY when asked
6. Deadline is September 7th, 2011 at 5:00 PM Pacific time
7. I have the right to scout, self cast and/or double cast if I don't find what I'm looking for
8. You will likely not be in ALL of the clips as there are barely any scenes where the entire cast is together
9. It is highly recommended that you have seen at least most of the series. Some of the clips we will be doing contain spoilers

AVAILABLE CHARACTERS
Madoka Kaname (鹿目 まどか; Kaname Madoka)
Pronunciation: "mah-doh-kah kah-nah-may"
The titular character and main protagonist of the series. Madoka is a fourteen year old middle school student who, along with her best friend Sayaka Miki, wind up in an epic battle between the Puella Magi (pronounced "poo-eh-lah mah-gee"; also called mahou shoujo or "magical girl") and the Witches. Although sweet and innocent, Madoka is very naive and rather hesitant on becoming a Puella Magi because she can't think of a good wish and because of the horrible events that start to unfold around her as the show goes on.

Voice type: Gentle, somewhat shy, bright

Sayaka Miki (美樹 さやか; Miki Sayaka)
Pronounced: "sah-yah-kah mee-key"
A girl that goes to Madoka's school and is one of her best friends. Sayaka, along with Madoka, open their eyes to the world of magic after saving Kyubey and getting caught in a Witch barrier, only to be saved by Puella Magi Mami Tomoe. She's tomboyish, stubborn and has a strong sense of justice. She is also in love with one of her childhood friends, Kyousuke Kamijo, and hopes that one day he'll be able to play the violin again after a freak accident.

Voice type: Tomboyish, confident, energetic

Homura Akemi (暁美 ほむら; Akemi Homura)
Pronounced: "hoh-moo-rah ah-keh-mee"
A mysterious young woman who has interest in preventing Madoka from becoming a Puella Magi. Interestingly enough, she herself is a Puella Magi. Throughout the series (until episode 10), her intentions are not very clear and she seems to hold a hostile grudge against Kyubey.

Age range: 13 - 15

Voice type: Cold, enigmatic, stern

Mami Tomoe (巴 マミ; Tomoe Mami)
Pronunciation: "toh-moh-eh mah-mee"
A kind and loving student who is one grade above Madoka, Homura and Sayaka. She is a veteran Puella Magi who protects Mitakihara City from Witches everyday after school. Though she acts strong, she admits that she is always afraid and feels alone.

Age range: 14 - 15
Voice range: Medium
Voice type: Warm, motherly, polite
Lines:
1. [introducing herself] "My name is Tomoe Mami. I'm a grade above you two."
2. [cheerful] "I hope you're looking forward to it. Are you prepared?"
3. [polite but dark] "Then let's not meet again. For the next time we do, we're enemies."

Pronunciation: "sah-koo-rah key-oh-koh"

A cocky and selfish girl, Kyoko is a veteran Puella Magi who aims to take over Mitakihara City as its guardian in Mami's place. She seems to be on good terms with Homura and Kyubey, but not so much with Sayaka. She is rarely seen without some sort of food in her mouth, even during combat)

Age range: 13 - 15
Voice range: Medium to medium high
Voice type: Tomboyish, cocky, rude (MUST be comfortable with swearing)
Lines:
1. [somewhat annoyed] "What the hell's going on? I thought this area was available!"
2. [offering but being cocky about it] "You want some?"
3. [rude] "What? Are you going to give that bullshit speech on 'justice' and 'helping out others'?"
4. [angered] "Do not waste food. Or I'll kill you."
Kyubey (キュゥべえ; Kyuubee)
Pronunciation: "key-you-bay"
A mysterious but intelligent creature that can grant wishes when adolescent girls "form a contract" with him. While he and other members of his race can feel emotion, most choose to rely solely on logic and those that do feel emotions are considered to be mentally unstable. He doesn't exactly understand humans and their morals.
Pre-cast to Rhapsody~Duskbane (me, sorry Dx)
I might add minor characters such as Hitomi and Kyousuke later on, depending on which clips I choose.
