    Where do I get music for demo reels? I'm guessing youtube just want to confirm it.

    You can get it from a wide variety of sources. Anime OSTs are a good place to start. Video game music. Royalty-free music found on various sites like incompetech.com also do the trick. Instrumentals are preferred, of course, to avoid distracting people from your vocals. Sometimes, certain lines will also work better without music too, and instead put in some fitting ambience like wind, rain, insects, or whatever. As for where you can find these things, there are plenty of places. Youtube, royal free sites, megaupload downloads, or you can purchase many OSTs through iTunes these days too (or even just preview the songs to see which ones you like).

    Also, freeplaymusic is pretty damn handy, too. You can literally search what kind of themed music you want.

    Search "royalty free music" on google. This way you won't get in trouble by companies or individuals for copyright.
