After watching the first episode, I had fallen in love. I didn't want to pick up something else until after I finished what was on my plate, but It was a really simple thing to mix. I'm not sure if I will do anymore of this after this clip. We'll see. This was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed mixing, scripting and recording for this and I hope my loveeely cast did as well! bleh, a few lip flaps are off, but it took so long to render and upload (which I did twice due to a dumb mistake) that I'm going to just leave it be. sorry for the inconvience!

Gahh I missed some lip flaps pretty bad in this one. But I did like it a lot! I think that scene where Menma was talking and Poppo was laughing would have benefited from lowering TPR's laugh. Speaking of TPR, I really like how he didn't give Poppo some stereotypical 'big guy' voice or something. I think that, as well as everyone else's performances added to the natural tone of the scene. It didn't feel like a normal over the top anime, which was good, because that's just what this show needs.

BloodRedOath: Thought you captured Jinta well. It's hard playing a character that emotes very low-key, but I didn't get the feeling you were struggling with the script and multiple wordless expressions at all. Your "I bet" line was the only read that I thought you could have played with a bit more since Jinta was off-screen. Aside from that, I believed every word from Jinta's mouth.

Shudo-Ranmaru: Felt like you fell right into character with Anaru. Like it was natural for you to be quietly excited about playing an old favorite game. Good choice sticking with your natural voice as it fits the girly-girl type like a glove. And yes, your acting & understanding of the role was on target. Your "so where's my reward..Jinta?" was my favorite read from you.

TriPredRavage: Certainly a good fit range-wise and overall liked your acting. Taking on that free-spirited, manchild, I-can-say-what-I-want-and-be-innocent kind of manner was what I'm glad you could get across. Really believed your waking up lines - very well delivered. Only suggestion I'd have was that I expected Poppo to sound a bit heavier (not fat, but fuller without being obvious), while still conveying all those other elements. Also, I expected your final line to be a bit bigger and end on an high note rather than a low one. Still, you did Poppo justice and could tell you had fun, especially in your background lines. You really didn't let up in your performance which was great.

Ramune: Epic one-liner. Fitting. Could have dug deeper into tone to convey more pain.

Bree: Your Menma was very adorable and really was just as well-cast as everyone else. Not nearly as much talking, so it's hard to find anything really off about your performance. Nothing hit me as awkward or out of place, and you delivered your lines very believably without strain. I think the fact that I typed "Menma" and then changed it to "Bree" says something.

Mixing: You've already mentioned the lip-flap issue, which is forgivable. SFX-wise, everything was where it needed to be for the most part, but the balancing of volume against the VAs and the BGM needed work. For example, the console "clicking" sounds were really loud. There were a few points where I couldn't hear someone because someone else was overpowering them. BGM was well chosen, but transitions were rough around the edges as well. I could mention a few other things, but while the actors were great in my opinion, I was distracted a few times by the mixing.

This anime really has me hooked, and I'm thankful to have been a part of this. To be honest, I feel like this series has helped me grow friendships with all of you involved. Maybe it's just me, but it would be great if more projects among other members led to this sort of feeling. Whether we do another AnoHana clip or not (and we should because ichigoxcupcakes wasn't in it haha), thank you for casting me, Bree. It was a pleasure working with all of you.

I'm so happy you enjoyed my Menma and the rest of the clip! I really would love to do more <3 Such a great cast for an amazing show! I'll see what I can do =] As for the mixing, with my headphone it seemed to be leveled out really well, but everyone has different computers and different speakers so I'm sure it's different, especially with variant volumes! Next time I'll try to listen with different levels and be sure to double check, though, since things being overpowered stink, and I agree, re listening some transitions for SFX are weak. I'll do my best to work hard and improve! I loved working with you, and I'm happy to hear you liked to as well!

Nokemon? Omg what nerds.. XDD I especially liked BRO's performance here; it was quite natural and appropriate for this character. The others were no less fitting for their characters of course; everyone did a great job. :3
