Hi everyone. I'm quite new here. I was curious about a few things and wanted to ask. Do people here offer their voice for free, just for fun, or are they looking to earn through it. I am in the process of conceptualizing my animation demo reel (1-2 mins), and the idea is dependent on whether I can voices for the roles, and if I cant I'll just have to change the concept. This being a personal demo reel it doesnt have a big budget. I am going to do all the visual stuff myself.

Plz tell me that people here do it for free , and if not, what are the usual approx rates.

most projects are free and some also pay - i beleive it is only free if you do not make any money from the project otherwise the VA should be paid. Most people here do it for fun as a hobby or for their own personal demo's to use in future.
also they require to be credited in youir project - so offering to put their user name or requsted name should be offered.

Thanks for the reply Elfee. It would sure help me a lot to get the voices in my reel without spending a lot of money. And giving credit to the actors .. obviously, no problem in that.
