Well this one took a while to make... Gee I always start off with something like that lately. Anyway, I always thought I'll only tackle shows that aren't so popular, and lo and behold I did a Code Geass clip. I wanted to apologize for my cast for my BIG delay and I hope everyone enjoys the final product!

    Nice clip ^_^

Lelouch- This was definitely a different style for Lelouch than i have ever heard. But I enjoyed it and your emotions were well displayed.

Shirley- Your emotions and lines were delivered very well, the mic quality sounded a little off but it was cool.

Mao- OMG I loved how crazy he sounded yet calm, until C.C appeared lol. The mic peaked a couple times I think but it was very enjoyable.

C.C- The voice was lovely, I also enjoyed how you captured her inner emotion without showing it on the outside.

Mixing was good. Occasional tweaks in volume levels but a lovely clip to hear.

    NOT available for scouting.

Ohhhh, haha! Now I feel dumb...should have checked this before I replied to your PM 8D Oh my gosh, it's done!! The mixing was really good. The ONLY thing I would have changed SFX-wise would have been to add a SFX when the headphones fell. Also, my "Did you...lose someone too?" line didn't sync with the lip flaps at all. Otherwise, good job on the mixing. I may post a critique of the voices later, but for now I'll say that they all fit range-wise, except I think we all had at least a few awkward/unnatural sounding deliveries. Overall, though, I liked the clip! I bet Sunrise will take it off YT, though, so you might want to make a mirror copy of it and upload that.

    Groovy clip~

Lelouch- Outside of your mic quality I think you did very well here, good emotional inflections all around~ Perhaps a bit too mellow at the end but overall a strong performance

Shirley- Also very good, lots of great emotions and the voice fit her very very well. Excellent job~

Mao- Already told you, it was fantastic~

C.C.- Hmm you sound rather robotic and unnatural with your line deliveries. They should be monotoned but not so choppy in the delivery, so I would make sure to make her speak with a smoother flow but I still thought your voice was workable for the character.

Thanks for all the comments so far, I glad people enjoy it. Ayame, sorry for missing that effect, that was a total boo-boo on my part. Haruhost, thanks for the comments, much obliged. Hyperknees, nothing I can do about the mic atm, but it's a legit call. I need to get a new one. Appreciate the critique!

Ok, I'm going to comment too. (The Power!) *evil snicker*

Despite the fact that this is my first clip that I've watched in a while from the VAA, I really enjoyed it. I'm not too familiar with this anime but the dub seemed very professional in my opinion although I did think that there were a few tid bits here and there. There were instances were the voices didn't seem to match the lip flaps, but thats pretty minor and can be easily fixed.

BladeBlur: I hope you know that you've improved a lot since the last time I've heard you. You've grown so much since your first project (Vampire Knight FTW!) I liked the tone of Lelouch very much, and your annunciation has gotten a lot better (there were a few lines you might want to fix though). I would have liked to see more variety in the choices made with each line. I thought that some of the lines with Lelouch didn't sound natural enough, meaning I don't think that a person would say the line that way in real life if he was put in that situation. That takes a lot of practice though so I know if you work at it you'll get it eventually.

Ayame: Very nice performance as a whole. You had a diverse range of emotions and I especially loved the ending when your character is smiling at Lelouch. I really enjoyed that moment when you were being optimistic. As an actress I think playing happy and positive characters is your strong point at the moment, but I haven't heard you in much and this was a great first impression. You complimented BladeBlur really well. It was a bit hard to understand what you were saying when you were crying at some points so I had to play back a few times. I understand that you're crying, but the viewers still have to hear the dialogue during those intense scenes. You did a great job though.

Sarifus: You were hilarious. Period. I loved the tone of your voice and a lot of the moments in your performance as well as a lot of the choices made with Mao. There were some intances where I thought you could have artculated better however, as there were times where I couldn't understand you until I replayed the clip a second time.

BrookeLynn: In my opinion the voice suited the character very well, and I liked the emotion displayed. C.C's facial expression and your voice mixed very well together. I would have liked to see more of you in the clip so I can't really give you much else of a critique other than that.
