What Exactly is Remember11?
Remember 11: The Age of Infinity is a Japanese visual novel, originally released on March 18, 2004 for the PlayStation 2, and is a part of the Infinity series created by the now-closed game company KID. Unlike its predecessor, Ever 17: The Out of Infinity, the game was never officially released in English, but a complete English fan-translation exists. The script for this Fandub will follow said fan-translation.
What is Remember11 About?
The story of Remember11 takes place between January 11th and 17th of the year 2011.
The game begins in 2011 with Kokoro Fuyukawa being on board a flight as she heads towards the Specified Psychiatric Hospital for Isolation and Aegis (SPHIA) institution to interview a patient with dissociative identity disorder. The plane experiences turbulence and subsequently crashes on Mount Akakura in the midsts of a blizzard. With the help of Yuni Kusuda's directions, Seiji Yomogi is able to carry fellow survivors Lin Mayuzumi and Kokoro to take shelter from the blizzard in an emergency shelter cabin. Elsewhere on Aosagi Island, the island in which SPHIA is located, Satoru Yukidoh falls from the SPHIA facility's clock tower and loses consciousness. When Kokoro wakes up, she realizes she is in a room and is later relieved to find that Yuni is safe and sound. Yuni does not recognize Fuyukawa and upon looking at herself in a mirror, Fuyukawa realizes she is in a man's body. A similar event occurs when Satoru awakens as he too comes to realize that he is in a woman's body. Both characters switch back to their respective bodies later but the phenomena continues and the two comes to terms with the fact that their consciousness are swapping places.
The story progresses, as a killer appears to be after Satoru at SPHIA, and contact with the outside world is impossible at the Shelter Cabin.
Who is the culprit at SPHIA? And will Kokoro and the others survive alone in the Mountains? And also... why is Yuni in both places?
