Well it is safe to say this took me a while to mix. But finally I got one of my projects after a long time. I wanted to apologize to the cast for the huge delay on my part, but I hope you'll be content with the final product.

Oh and before we go on, yes, I know the name is Poplar. Back then I didn't know, we all make mistakes, don't we?

Oh, this is definitely something I've been looking for from the moment you asked me to record for this those many months ago. And now, the finished product is here! I gotta say, this is a great way to come back BladeBlur.

Koichi Saito as Souta Takanashi- I really wish I could re-do some of those lines. In particular, the one where I was like "I wouldn't do that! There won't be any affairs!" I could've done a lot better, but my performance overall was alright. I had a lot of fun with this role, and of course saying "WATERFLEAS!!!"

Kennidy as Poplar Taneshima- The voice choice and acting were superb! You excel at these kinds of roles, and I'm sure you're tired of hearing this, but you make the perfect little girl! It was an honor to work with you, Waterflea. XDD

fairuza as Kyouko Shirafuji- I loved your performance as Kyouko! You really had that sarcastic and bored tone down pat. I am really honored to have been in the same project as you.

Bladeblur as Jun Satou- Dude, and you said you sucked. XP LIES! You did an awesome job as Jun. I really loved that "You're a freak" line the most though. It made that scene in my opinion.

Mixing- For the most part, it was really good. Only thing I had a problem with were the sound levels of everyone's lines. My lines were sometimes normal and some of them were too soft. Then there was the part where you almost cut off fairuza's line in the beginning, but those are minor details that I'm sure could be improved upon the next clip you decide to do. I really enjoyed this clip BladeBlur, and I hope you make more!

Souta: Koichi, I really thought you fit this character very nicely. You had a great sense of this character's personality.
I really loved how you pushed your performance with how insecure Souta was getting close to the end of the clip! Very believe and fitting performance for the part! Great job!

Poplar: Kennidy, you always seems to pull of the kind of roles perfectly which makes me smile and enjoy what you bring to the table! It's always a pleasure working with you in a project. I couldn't find anything negative about you're performance at all!

Kyouko: Kyouko may be one of my favorite characters to voice for because of her semi deadpan sarcasm and for her be Kyouko!
She was alot of fun to voice once again. I don't think I could ever get sick of her character! XD

Jun: Blade, to be honest I thought you were also a great match for this character. I loved the character you gave him by the tone of the lower voice and semi tough guy personality you gave him. Very impressive job!

Mixing: I thought the mixing was executed very well. I agree with some of the sound levels of everyone's lines differing from each other but otherwise, the sfx, music and mix as a whole was very well done!

I liked your tone for Takanashi, however I feel like some of your lines didn't have the necessary "oompf" that they needed. This can definitely be heard when you're talking to Kyouko and about Popura. Especially when he's being targeted as a loli'-con, I feel that more "ohmygod no no no" undertone in your voice was needed. It kind of felt like you were holding back in a strange way :\ Also, sometimes it was a little hard to understand what you were saying, but it wasn't too bad. Overall I really enjoyed your performance~ so please don't take this the wrong way!!
I know you're just getting back into VA, so keep doing your best!! : D

Popura Taneshima - Kennidy
Please don't stop being adorable. I think I gained a few more cavities while listening to you as Poplar ;;3;;
I really enjoyed your performance, and now completely understand why you're cast usually for these characters. XD they fit your range so well~ <3 But I can want to see what else you do in the future hun~!

Kyouko Shirafuji - Fairuza
This is exactly what I imagined Kyouko to sound like~<33<3<3 the "I don't care, I'm just here for the food" boss, you did a really great job hun. I loved your deliveries, and especially near the end. I request more clips as her <3<3<3<3<3 lol

Jun Satou - BladeBlur
I really, really liked your tone for this character. Jun is the man with few words, and I like that about him. I would like you see you play more of in in the near future, because it's a great character! (HAS AN IDEA NOW lol)


Mixing & Script
Personally, I didn't like the choice of 'Popura' as Poplar's name. Reason why is because it's specifically said that her name is Poplar due to the reason her parents wanted her to grow tall XD So hearing the name Popura, was a little off to me at least.
Mixing was really great overall, though there were some volume issues etc.etc. But that's to be expected~

And Nana, time for me to address the whole "Popura" thing. Yes, I kinda figured this will kinda cause a backlash and I'm prepared for that. I was too far into the mixing and due to "real life" consuming me, I put it on hold until now. I am just GLAD to see it's being out and for the next clip, if there is ever going to be one, I'll change it. But I agree, it is a scripting error and for a guy that holds a pride to that, I sincerely apologize.

No no, don't apologize~! Everyone has different scripting ways. : D

Thank you very much! I'm truly flattered with the compliments, and I'm glad I was able to make at least one person pleased with my performance.

Souta Takanashi - Koichi_Saito: Your voice and tone worked pretty good for him, though I have to agree that some of the lines seemed a bit held back.

Jun Satou - BladeBlur: He never did say much did he? XD I thought you did pretty well.

Kennidy & Fairuza: You two were great as always for these two



Po-pu-ra! XD Ahh. Speaking of that, in the defense of the official English release that is the spelling that NIS America used for it's DVDs, so who really know what japan intended for her name.
