Best microphone to buy

Yeah, you'll definitly want to find a place like Guitar Center, or some other kind of electronics/music type store if you can't get stuff online. They'd make a much better choice than a wal-mart (I worked there for a long time and they have nothing when it comes to good microphones).

I dont know if you have the option, but best buy isnt the worst alternative. they have a bit better of an electronics section, though it's gonna be a bit pricy. They have the yeti at my local one apparently, but for the full package and full price of 150. Still, could find at least the snowball there.

If it's because of under 18 credit card restrictions, those Visa gift cards are always an option. Amazon will accept them.

I have the Logitech mic I got it a walmart for 10 bucks an it is a pretty darn good mic!

Check out the apple store too for Blue Snowball or Yeti. I highly recommend both, diffinitely the Yeti

Amazon is $50 cheaper though

It honestly depends on what you're aiming for. If you're using something strictly for voice acting, Logitech USB chat mic is a good brand to use, and is what I use currently.

If you're like me and do a lot of singing, mine does a decent job with that, but tends to crap out whenever I record high notes. I am trying to upgrade to a Yeti which is more expensive but better quality for what I am trying to do.

But yes. Logitech products are usually good quality and affordable, so if Wal Mart has Logitech stuff at decent prices, I'd try there. I bought mine at Best Buy, so you could try there as well.

Guitar center, and if you have about $100, then theres a deal (Not sure if its still going) For an MXL 990 Mic, for about $100 or a bit more, and its an amazing Mic.
