SP - El Hazard The Magnificent World "Awakening the Demon God"

I've been wanting to do another El Hazard clip for awhile. There are so many scenes that I would love to dub(and I may do a couple more) though I found myself mostly attracted to this scene because of Jinnai. He is I think most know for his insane laughing and I wanted to hear what Lucien could do with it. Though Lucien took up the reigns of doing Ura's voice as well which turned out awesome! You have to watch this just so you can hear Lucien make cat noises! Majinboo0111 joined us as Makoto which is just such a perfect fit! I love working with these guys!

The mixing took longer than expected because the OST for parts of El-Hazard where never released. I did not substitute any of the background music with other/different tracks. I actually ripped scenes from other parts of the series where the same background music was used to complete missing bits in mine.

Anyway enough blabbing on, onto the clip!

Okay, haven't watched it yet (hardly do any media viewing during the week 9_9 ), but first of all, WIN for the El Hazard OVA. That's like one of my old nostalgic favorites that I still rewatch from time to time. It's also one of the not-so-many where I highly prefer watching the dub rather than the subtitled, they did such a good job! X3 I have both the DVDs of that OVA proudly in my collection. 8D *downloads to watch later*

Tomoyo Ichijouji - I very much agree the dub was pretty awesome for this series! YAY for nostalgic anime!!!

I think the production overall was pretty top notch for this series ^^

I remember doing so much grunts and gasping for this XD all joking aside I really liked this clip. Lucien stole the show, I loved his Jinnai <3 but I thought everyone did very well!

I'm so happy this is out, this was so much fun to record for! I really, really hope you do plan to do more clips ^^

El Hazarddddd yay.

Makoto- Good tone, nice and soft. A bit younger than I'm used to but I still thought it worked well. I think the only line I had any real problem with was your first, it just seemed awkwardly expressed. Really though you did a great job~

Jinnai- Lawl for some reason I thought you would be all high pitch like the english dub, but still you were a whole lot of fun to listen to regardless. The laughing really reminded me of the original haha (which is like the best part of the show). Anyway you are pro what else can I say.

Ifurita- Good tone overall, a bit less bold then I'm used to but eh I still enjoyed the performance.

hyperknees91 - Maybe it's because the wording in line is just a bit awkward and so it came out a bit awkward. Needed some re-wording maybe? As for Ifurita you mentioned that it was "less bold" than you are use to. Could you elaborate? I think I get the general idea of what you mean but I want to make sure so should I ever do further performances of the character I can improve it ^^

Well your Ifurita voice is mainly just very quiet and not quite as strong as the original (her voice carries alot you could say), kinda gives off a more intimidating feel just in general. It's nothing to do with your performance though it's just what I'm more used to.

As for the first line yeah I don't doubt that.
