Man of Steel

Not really a fan of Superman but I wanted to try something colourful so I could experiment with some thorough digital palettes.

And yeah, I know the transparent backs on the images don't work well with the colours on this forum but they work fine with most other places you'll see the images and it's just tedious to make a second version for each one.

I've got a couple new images that I just finished today. First up is Robin! And next, Mega Man X!

It only seemed appropriate to draw Zero after I did X.

Some considerable changes in my work process lately: My parents were kind enough to pick me up a pair of small, portable tables which has finally given me enough table space to have a truly professional setup when I'm using my tablet. Before, I would always just sit on my bed when using my Cintiq, now I have the space to place it right beside my laptop. This gives me the ability to reach over with my right hand (I'm left-handed) while drawing and use keyboard shortcuts and whatnot. In short: It's increased my workflow efficiency.
The next change: I am now proud owner of a legitimate copy of Toon Boom Studio 6, and I'm using it! I'm currently working on stuff with the intention of putting it in an updated demo reel.

I've been experimenting some more "painterly" approaches.
