    Cast:

    Ringo Akai - Bree
    Ryouko Okami - Mizura
    Ryoushi Morino - BloodRedOath
    Liszt Kiriki - InstraClassic
    Alice Kiriki - Monotori
    Otsuu Tsurugaya - Chinomi

    SFX: VAA SFX Library, Freesound.org

Songs: "Action" and "Itsumono Nichijou" from the Ookami-San To Shichinin no Nakamatachi OST

Note: I had decided to take out the Narrator from the clips, because all she ever did was distract the viewers from what the characters were saying and only offered commentary that pointed out the obvious.

    Comments and critiques are appreciated!

    Watched. Dug.

Bree's "Staaaare"s are now among my favorite sounds ever recorded.

Actual, big-boy critique coming eventually, but I dug this clip muchly.

    Spoiler:

Bear with me on a majority of this critique, I have not seen a majority of the show if any at all.

Let's start off with mixing. I'd have to say for one of the few projects you've put out within the years, this definitely had to be your greatest achievement by far. What really got me to conclude this statement is that when I watch a fandub, I'm the kind of guy who doesn't much care for the perfect technicalities, as long as I'm engaged into the clip. To be frank, I was very much engaged into this clip and the mixing did not distract me in any sort. I felt as if you handled the music, lines, and SFX incredibly well.

Yet, I do have a little nitpick with the RAW. I don't know if it's just the format you rendered the video in or whatever, but the video did feel boxed in and a better looking RAW would definitely make the clips stand out more.

Mizura had to be the one that really shined in this clip. I don't know much about Okami, but I can understand she has a fierce disposition, where she can be set off at any given time. Mizura hit that node with a tee and got that powerful tone in her voice just right. Her voice felt very natural and ran along nicely. No nitpicks; great job!

I was able to hear much from you, Monotori, so I can't critique much, but by god, I would love to hear more from you and your portrayal of the character in future clips so I can grasp your interpretation to a greater extent. Chinomi, you definitely nailed the voice for Otsuu (at least to my opinion), but that "I'll be right back" line near the end of her appearance in the clip sounded a tad... lazy, so to speak. Though, that may just end up being a little nitpick of mine. Otherwise, I think you did good for what you had initially in this clip.

BloodRedOath surprised me, in a way, as I personally felt the character was a total mess to try and interpret. The voice you chose was different, but I like that. I like to see interpretations not entirely based upon the initial, and you did that fantastically without completely blowing your interpretation out of control. I felt like you flowed well with what Jordan was looking for (as she has discussed to me many times what she looked for in her Ryoushi).

Bree, on the other hand, I didn't quite like your output on Ringo. Bear with me, I haven't seen much of the show, but you didn't really... add any sort of cuteness to the stature Ringo sets herself at. To put it bluntly, your general output on Ringo sounded forced and eventually grew to be quite nasally in fact. You sounded like you weren't comfortable with the character or your own delivery, which is always a bad sign. Though, your delivery was natural, which is always a good sign!

As for myself, I don't know what else to say other than I had quite some trouble getting used to Liszt's delivery at first (haven't played a character like him in what feels like ages) and suddenly, I picked up my microphone for Liszt once again and everything just pieced together. I'd say for what is there, this has got to be one of my best performances. It may not sound out by some people's standards, but I feel at home with my portrayal.

Can't wait for more clips, Jordan! Fantastic job so far!

Really liked BloodRedOath playing as Ryoushi Morino.

He seems to shine the most in this clip(in my opinion).

Can't really nitpick anything, nor do I have the motivation to do so right now. I liked it. I really need to watch more of this to get anything.

    Staaaaare....

    Alriiiiiiiiiiight critique time!

Ringo Akai - Bree : Pretty good, you definitely fit the character, but that's pretty obvious lol. I feel like a couple of your lines in the beginning were a tad awkwardly delivered, like "I thought that Morino-kun's ability..." sounded a little weird, not because of the pause, (that's obviously beyond your control) but something about it struck me as odd. I think the pacing of the lines made them difficult, but you did pretty damn good with em anyway. (I loved your "staaaaaaaare" xD)

Ryouko Okami - Mizura : Awesome. I loved the voice, and your delivery sounded great to me. The only little nitpick I'd say I have was your annunciation during the line that said like "in the alley when I was attacked..." It sounded just a little off, but it was totally fine because everything else was good, great job!

Liszt Kiriki - InstraClassic : Something about this character struck me as flamboyant when I first saw him, but your performance made me think completely otherwise xD I really dug the calm, cool, and collected delivery you gave. I liked it a lot!

Alice Kiriki - Monotori : Beautiful. The best one in the clip by far. xD You didn't have much in this clip, so I look forward to future clips where you may say more so I can properly critique you!

Otsuu Tsurugaya - Chinomi : Not too many lines from you either, but a few more than Alice. I liked what you were doing with the character, she seemed very sweet and soft-spoken. The "I'll be right back" sounded just a bit less enthusiastic than I expected. Other than that, I liked it, but hopefully we'll see you in more of these clips too so I can critique you better!

Ryoushi Morino - Me : To be perfectly honest, I'm very satisfied with this. I feel like I gave my best and I think it showed, at least to an extent. My couple of nitpicks are as follows: my "Yes ma'am." Didn't sound as disappointed or down as I think it should have; and I feel like I could hear a bit of mic distortion on my louder lines because of the environment I was recording in and how I used noise removal. Yuck. I'll try to fix that in future clips~!

Overall: I liked watching this a lot, it was a silly scene that definitely feels like the set up scene for a series. (Which im sure it is xD) I had fun working on these lines, and I think the clip came together very well. As I love to say, the mixing must have been awesome, because I didn't think about it the entire time. <3

This turned out so good! I loved the voices to bits and the mixing seemed flawless. No complaints or crit for the cast or the mixing.

    The outtakes were hilarious.

Also, thanks for the crit everyone. I couldn't agree with you more, too. I kinda screwed up on that one line.
