No Rest for the Wicked mangadub test runs!

I've been working on this mangadub for a webcomic called No Rest for the Wicked (original site: www.forthewicked.net) for like 8 months now, and I have had little to show for it publicly (outside of in-studio progress stuff) beyond the promo clips for the audition page, which were several months back.

Finally though, I'm releasing test run clips that I've been making over the months, and while they're far from complete -- has some lines I did as placeholders since the VAs haven't yet gotten to them, and none of the music from DeusNovus yet (yes, this production will have original music composed for it by him) -- I think these'll give you a fair idea of what the mangadub might be like once it's all finished.

I hope it's okay for me to comment on this; it's been nine months since the last comment, but I'm pretty sure this project is still in progress, so...yeah.

I think this is good! My dad looked over my shoulder as I was watching the Chapter 2 pp 42-43 clip, and he thought that Beast looked like Bill the Cat...I think this means that he approves of the visuals. I liked the more dramatic, shadowy scenes. The very end of the Chapter 2 pp 1-3 clip actually made me shiver! (Though that could be because it's cold and rainy where I am, haha.)

To my inexpert ears, the sound effects seem well-chosen and mixed. The fact that you're still missing your BGM didn't detract too much, though I am looking forward to hearing this with the right music. I bet it will sound great!

As for the vocals, I think everyone was suited to their roles. The lines fit together well, so the actors sounded like they were having actual conversations as opposed to having recorded separately on their own. I did notice a few instances where excess breathing could be cut out around the lines... Other than that, it sounded promising. I'm really looking forward to hearing more of this project!
