Full Metal Panic Fumoffu Episode 1 Clip Fandub: Hostage Situation

It's been a while since I've done... anything. I thought that should change.

A few days ago there was a local con where I live (Anime Vegas) and this year there was a fandub contest. So I decided why not to use this as an excuse to practice up and get back into more AVA'ing. I decided for the contest to do a Full Metal Panic Fumoffu clip, and this is the result.

Due to having done anything in a while. Critiques acting and mixing wise would be very appreciated.

I really want to thank the cast, being very quick and helpful about re-dos made this possible. Again, critiques are welcome. Hope you all enjoyed! Now hopefully I'll have a better time getting back to doing AVA'ing and producing.

I rather enjoyed this. Good going to everyone involved. Especially FadedPhantom and Eile-Monty. I thought you both nailed the parts completely.

My critique is fairly straightforward since I only really have two points to make. I felt like everyone could have amped up on the volume at times. The thugs could've sounded a bit more frightened when Sosuke was making his threats and Kaname didn't sound quite as shocked at Sosuke's actions as I'd have expected. Secondly, I felt Sosuke could have been just a little bit more smug when it came to his threats, as if to get across the message more that he's the one holding all the cards.

Aside from that, though, I thought it was pretty good. Well done, old beans! : D

Very nice, mixing was most excellent as always majinboo so it was quite a treat to watch~

Sosuke- The voice and serious tone work well, but I think what would really add to your performance is being much bolder with your voice. Adding that extra layer of projection and strength will really help bring out that soldier tone that he has. Also on the longer lines I would spend just a bittt longer with them just to make sure they all flow well. Still it was naturally acted and quite entertaining all around, nicely done~

Kaname- Not bad but I think your voice is rather on the soft side and you were rather quiet on a few lines that required an extra boost in volume. The voice does fit her quite well but try and give her that extra boost in confidence when recording.

Mari- Well done overall, voice tone and acting were very fitting for this character. Really don't have any complaints, excellent job~

Yoshiki- Also quite nice, but possibly tone down the raspyness slightly as it came across a bit too much. However the acting more than made up for it so that was groovy~
