Dear God, reading this topic makes me feel so damn old! I'm 25 and just finished my MASTERS DEGREE while most of you are still in high school. How time flies!

As for me, high school wasn't the worst thing in the world. A few things I would have done differently, but apart from that, good experiences all around.

As an introverted person, it was hard to create lasting friendships outside of high school - very walled-up kind of guy. Everyone enjoyed being around me and I wasn't bullied at all. Never hung out with a certain clique but got to know many people from different social circles and got along very well with them - from the arts people, to the science people, the jocks, the metalheads, etc). They all knew I wasn't there to pick fights so they appreciated my company. However, I did spent more time with the groups that had a higher concentration of intelligent, creative people who certainly knew how to keep things interesting (not to mention, most of the girls were smoking hot!).

I was a lone wolf kind of a guy, almost like a mercenary, but that didn't affect me negatively. I was a top-level student, the teachers loved me... Looking back on everything, I was certainly too uptight and definitely should have relaxed a little bit more, probably let a few people into my life. As a consequence, my first actual girlfriend didn't come until I was in university and I didn't lose my virginity until I was 22, but trust me, enjoying those things with someone mature and not afraid of being themselves makes the wait entirely worth it!

One thing I do REALLY miss about high school was the music program - bari saxes aren't cheap and losing access to my horn made me inconsolable for a good week! Playing in jazz bands and forming quartets with other sax players was a ton of fun (one quartet played video game music for a school variety show and we got the most applause out of all the acts!). Nothing more fun than someone not part of the quartet recognizing a piece of video game music when overhearing rehearsals - one guy just feel in love with Terra's theme from FFVI and Lufia 1's port city music! So much fun!

And getting the acting bug by being cast as Vince Fontaine after the original choice declined... so much fun! Never acted before in front of HUNDREDS of people, but as an introverted kid this was an absolute THRILL! Many others were intimidated by I soaked it all in. Such a fun character! If there was one week I'd love to relive again, it would be my high school's run of Grease. Can't think of another time in my life thus far that has come even remotely close to being as fun!

Well, for a start, I like to remember most of my freshmen year in High School. I think it's one of my best times ever. With exceptions of teacher that I think it's a pain in the neck and algebra.

I think I'll keep most of those memories personal. Most of them.

    Ahhhh... high school.
Well, I'm not quite finished,I'm in thesecond semester of Junior year.
So, lets see. Freshman year sucked. Mostly becauseI was super naive and my douchebag cousin transferred in and started dating my friends. O.o
Not much of interest happened last year. Im having a good time this year though! Despite some of the stuff going onright now.
Basically, I had my first boyfriend this yearand I was talking to my friend about it because I was thinking about breaking up with him (which I did end up doing) and how I had feelings for this other guy. And she started venting to me about how she liked this guy since our Freshman year but he dated her friend and dadadadada. And I was like 'shit what do I do its the same guyyyyy'

I haven't told her yet 'cuz I'm not sure how she'll react... But other than that, very little drama has gone down.

Oh andsorry for the crappy typing. The nook keyboard isn't very good ^^'

    College Freshman here.

Let's see... I'd say a lot of high school was kind of a messy blur. No one particularly enjoys high school (maybe for the first quarter or so, but it wears old very quickly).
Only thing that sticks out in my mind:

I fell off of a balcony once and fractured my spine. I was bedridden for 2 weeks hopped up on painkillers (those were the weirdest 2 weeks of my life).

But beyond that, high school was pretty lame. The majority of the people there are very stereotypically categorized in cliques and whatnot. Open-mindedness isn't exactly prevalent. Some of the teachers were pretty cool, and you meet some pretty awesome people, but getting up early in the mornings and the fact that most people who aren't your friends will bug you to no end will quickly leave you yearning for college.

I made everyone like me and then announced in my yearbook page my hatred for everyone I had ever made acquaintances with. Oh, and I graduated a year early.

I don't know what to think about high school. One year was awful, but on the other hand in that same year my current best friend and I became really good friends because of the shit that was going on.
The first year was good, the third and fifth. The other three years were meh. Didn't have a good connection with my classmates like in the other classes.
I had my ups and downs like most people had. I failed my exams once and my grades were so so, but I can look back quite satisfied. It wasn't such hell xD
