  1. #1 What's your current microphone?
I want to see what people are using these days.
Please, include details. Tell us how you love it (or hate it)!

For me, I'm using a SM6 Rode Condenser Microphone, hooked up to a Steinburg CI 1 audio unit which costed me about $350 in total. The funny thing is that I bought it and on the following day I saw a video inside the recording booth of 4kids entertainment and the microphone I saw on the stand looked like mine, but I can't confirm it. It made me laugh, that's for sure.

I use use a Audio Technica 2020 with a Nady 18-inch Pop Filter, (forgot the brand) shock mount, and On Stage* Microphone Stand. It cost about $195, I've seen the AT2020 used in local recording studios so it had been labeled reliable, so I just had to get it.

    I went thru an
Audio Technicia AT2020 when I first started out,
a Blue Snoball USB Microphone, and now I use a Samson G Track with Audio Interface, and I intend to keep this one, lol.

I am currently using a Shure PG42 Condenser microphone with shock mount, pop filter, and mic stand, roughly around three hundred dollars in total. Good setup for a loud voice like mine.

MXL 990 USB Condenser Mic equipped with a dual screen pop filter (forgot the brand), It's great and I love it but I kind of regret not getting the XLR to start with. (I didn't realize that it was only 10 dollars more) It wasn't really the "crisp" quality I was hoping for. I do intend to upgrade at some point, but at the moment the MXL gets the job done. ^ ^

I currently use Samson C01U for voice acting. I used to use Radio Shack 33-3043 dynamic microphone but I still have it. I also have MXL 990 XLR mic with MicPort Pro USB preamp but I want to soundproof a room first because that microphone picks up a lot of echoes and noises. X(

Scouting? Contact me about it via PM.

Currently using a Blue Yeti which I love. <3 Very crisp sound with easy to adjust settings, which is good for when I have to turn it down for blood curdling screams and then back up for softer lines.
