Another rough demo reel of mine. I've shown it to a few friends already and I already know that I'm speaking for too long with some characters and I have some minor peaking issues. But I'm hoping that my acting makes up for it, along with my range. Any critiques would be great!
If anyone says, "Yes, it was good!" - I want to know WHY it was good.

I thought your demo was very nicely put together. The music really seemed to add some atmosphere to each voice that was presented here!

On a technical side of this critique,I'm gonna try and critique each vocal clip as best and as honest as I can.

1st voice: As I thought this voice was viciously executed (in a very good way) Up until the "Feel my pain" part, it sounded like you held back a bit emotionally. I think that with this clip,sounding as emotionally charged as it sounded to me I think that adding a bit more aggression and frustration would definitely push the envelope with how angry this character really is to the person she's tormenting.

2nd voice: I actually really liked the direction you took with this voice. I could actually feel the pure sadness and the amount of grief of this character. As if she is about to breakdown and lose control. I thought this was done very nicely and I thought you really made some great choices with this one!

3rd voice: Your performance here sounded very devilish and slick which I loved. I think with this delivery,I think if you played with this even more and adding a bit of a taunt to the character she's speaking to,I think it would be even more delicious and satisfying.

4th voice: This was an adorable voice! The delivery was very nicely done and very upbeat and spunky and I thought this came out beautifully!

5th voice: This was a very convincing character and I could really feel her pure frustration. There was a bit of peaking in the last bit but otherwise I thought this was greatly executed!

6th voice: This voice was also another great one that I thought you took the time to make nice choices with inflection and delivery a fresh and natural sounding character. By listening to this,I could feel the nervousness and shakiness of this character as well as with a bit of unease in her voice.^^

7th voice: Being the last voice before the outro,I thought this being a dramatic piece came out nicely. I could feel the guilt and sadness of this character and it came off as another natural voice in my mind.

Phew..XD; As for the demo overall,I enjoyed hearing the contrast with each voice and mood setting. I think that in my opinion,since this demo was a bit on the side of sadness,adding a bit of humor or even a crazy element to this demo would be even more characteristic and make for an even greater blend of different characters and emotions to add here. Very great job. Keep up more of the amazing work!

Ya ya I like it xD, you got that projection problem pretty much fixed from your first one so thats an improvement to be proud of. I didn't feel like any of the voices were held back but I think on the first voice you mainly lost momentum, if you could keep it strong all the way through that would be very nice~

Uh the last voice made me go wtf, maybe I should re-evaluate your range xD

Anyway the acting was good and your voice is good and I was entertained so.......good job~

Holly, I can accept you as a voice actress, but to be honest, I feel I have only heard 3-4 voices throughout this whole reel, just all done slightly differently. You have range, I can tell, but in this reel I can't feel it. Sorry

Mic quality was mostly good, though a couple of moments, it sounds like peaking was an issue

I love your voice!! It's fun to listen to. You would make a great voice actress for just about anything to me. I did find some things wrong with it, but I don't mind too much. ^^
